A good auger for planting, a little small, but my drill is very weak so it works out in the end.

Fits nicely into my drill and chewed right through packed dirt so I could move some termite stations. It totally did the trick, although I do wish it was a little longer, but that is on me for not ordering correctly. Just be aware of the length you need when ordering. This thing is durable and should last a long time.

I love working in the flower garden however sometimes the ground is a little bit hard. This is a very sturdy drill bit, fits my drill perfectly and makes planting so much easier on my hands. I ordered the smaller version of the three sizes listed because it looked like it would fit my needs the best. It truly does the job very well and faster. I am very satisfied and recommend it. Because of the quality, if in the future I need a larger drill bit I will order from this seller.

There is nothing wrong with the auger bit I received except that it is not the same one shown in the picture. As others have described, the shaft on the actual auger is much smaller than shown on the product page. It works, but the drill has to basically hit the surface of your soil. Just an inconvenience to have it be a smaller version of what was expected.

My wife and I ordered 100 - 1’ to 2’ tall seedlings from the Arbor Day foundation. We planted them on three different properties that we own. Having to dig 100 tiny little holes like that would have been a nightmare and taken absolutely forever. I ordered two of these and hooked them into two different cordless drills and we literally did this in a matter of hours. it was incredibly easy and saved a couple of old people a lot of backbreaking work. These also come in handy for installing the Sentricon termite bait stations that I order from Amazon for my home in Florida. They make installing and maintaining those super easy also. It’s a very small price to pay for a tool that can make the tough jobs super easy.

I really like this attachment that works with my drill. It makes it super easy to break up/ till the soil for planting. It makes the perfect size hole for seeds or seedling plants. It made it super fast and easy to get my garden planted. The price is awesome!

While the measurements are accurate, the pictures in the listing are a bit deceiving, the 1.6x8.7 model Is naturally quite small. Really only useful for planting seeds, small cell-started seedings, and fertilizer tablets. I would personally recommend getting a larger size for general use, while some bulb plantings may fit inside these dimensions, I think disturbing the space with a larger bit would give any bulb's roots a better chance at establishing. Definitely not sufficient for new plants that are larger than cell packs. The auger portion has a few simple tack welds which don’t lend well to long-term / heavy-duty use or in compacted soil.

Our backyard is more rock that dirt in some areas, so a tool like this is essential for gardening. It is great for making holes for plants and it also makes it a lot easier to break up the soil/rock mess that we have when we want to put in solar lights or shepherd's hooks. Definitely a great value for such a useful drill bit, and it works great with my 20V Dewalt.

So I got this mini order to help me in my garden and I love it. It fits into my standard Ryobi drill and makes digging holes so much easier. I don’t know why I didn’t get this sooner. 10/10 recommend

The auger drill bit fit nicely on my drill and effortlessly drilled nice deep holes for our tulip bulbs. Initial impressions are great. The construction is solid and should serve us well for years to come. I've uploaded a video to demonstrate its performance.
