- I Casey2024-07-11Gasket fail.
Went through original setup fine. On the 4th cycle. Water started leaking out from rear gasket on the machine under tank. Used tool enclosed and it would not stay closed. Soon as you filter water it loosens back up. Front one was fine. For price returned same day. Back to researching to find another brand.
- Brian Hope2024-07-09beautiful, good quality,
I recently got this SimPure Y9T 300G Countertop Reverse Osmosis Water Filter, and it has been an excellent addition to my kitchen. The near 0 TDS water it produces tastes incredibly pure and clean. The six-stage RO filtration system, combined with UV purification, ensures the highest water quality. I love that it’s NSF/ANSI 58 certified and BPA-free, providing peace of mind about its safety. The best part is that no installation is required, making it extremely convenient to use right out of the box. This water purifier has significantly improved the taste and quality of my drinking water.
- Joshua Khualsim2024-07-09Upgraded version is better.
The old design was only two filters but this new version is come one extra filter that makes tem 3 filters and yes it read 0 TDS. And tested better than bottle water. So far so good no issue at all "knock on the wood". Hopefully it will last 6+months. Great products and great investments. No more doing extra plumbing work.

Let's cut to the chase here, this is a very expensive product and I expected greatness but only found failure. I love the concept of this product and the aesthetic is solid. On paper this should be one of the best filters around but the implementation is where it falls apart. I was excited to get the device setup and ran through the long purge/setup process. After everything was done I filled my water bottle and when to my office for a few hours. When I came back downstairs to get a refill I found a massive puddle of water on the floor (think a full bath towel to dry) and assumed that the nozzle had failed or the unit had accidentally dispensed the water. I dried everything and set it up again hoping that it was a one off event. Que a few hours later and the massive puddle is back and I started really investigating the cause and found that it was not the nozzle but the gaskets on the tank that were leaking water. I tried a few things to get the tank to seat or lock into place but it continued to fail.
- SunnySkies2024-07-09Great for RV traveling
We typically bring a couple of five-gallon jugs of purified water with us when we travel in our RV, because the potable water at campsites doesn't always have the best flavor. But the big water jugs are a pain to lug around and add quite a bit of weight to the rig. Plus, when we run out of water, we have to find a kiosk to fill up our bottles or buy filled bottles. This countertop water filter is such a great solution! We tested it on our tap water in our house, which doesn't taste all that great (we use bottled water at home, too). After running some tap water through the filter, we tasted it, then tasted the bottled water we buy. We could not tell the difference--both tasted clean and pure. We then compared the flavor of our straight tap water to the tap water we'd run through this filter. Day and night difference! This water filter is a great solution for RV travelers and singles or couples. It does not take a whole lot of counter space and would even fit well in a small apartment kitchen. I think it is worth every penny and highly recommend it.
- RickR2024-07-09It works, but...
First off, this takes up a LOT of space on your countertop. It is also tall enough that it may or may not fit under your cabinets. You also need to take into account that the tank has to be lifted on/off for filling/draining, and that requires more headroom and it doesn't really slide that well. Mine has ended up pretty close to the edge of my countertop, which really isn't ideal in that the drip tray hangs off the edge. Second, I am not an engineer, but I have some questions about the design. The flow diagram shown on the webpage is different than the one shown in the manual. The one in the manual shows the "reject" RO (reverse osmosis) filter water flowing into the water tank. So your tap water and your "reject" water end up being separated by a dividing baffle that doesn't go all the way to the top of the container. If you fill the container full, the waters mix. I don't know if that's a big deal, but I would have liked to see a separate tank for the "reject" water. Or at least make the baffle taller to give the illusion of separation. Or don't show me the diagram. To be fair, though the filter system works as advertised. My tap water shows about 062 on the TDS (total dissolved solids) meter that came with my Zero Water pitcher, and when it comes out of the dispenser, it reads 000 on the meter. (The "reject" water shows about 114 in the flush tank, and if it flows into the main tank, it obviously raises the TDS in there as well..). The manual makes a point of saying how a higher TDS will lower filter life, so I'm not sure why they want a higher TDS added to your tap water. Maybe to get you to buy replacement filters sooner? I don't have any way of measuring the other things that the system is supposed to remove, so your guess is as good as mine. I really have a hard time recommending this filter system. It is big, expensive, and the tank design could be better, in my opinion. It also dispenses room temperature water. Oh, and I didn't mention that filling the tank to the medium level (the highest that keeps the "reject" water seperated from the tap water) dispenses about 3 cups of filtered water before the level reaches a point that you have to drain and refill the tank. Some people may have the money and countertop real estate to make this a practical setup, but I think I will stick with my old filter pitcher that fits in my refrigerator .
- Malvin Gandhi2024-07-15High Hopes, Low Performance: A Disappointing Experience with an Expensive RO Water Filter
This reverse osmosis water filter promised premium performance with a hefty price tag, but unfortunately, it failed to deliver on its potential. While the concept and aesthetics are appealing, the execution leaves much to be desired. Initial setup was time-consuming, requiring a lengthy purge process. However, the real issues began shortly after installation. Within hours, I discovered a substantial water leak - enough to soak a full bath towel. Hoping it was a one-time occurrence, I dried everything and reset the unit, only to face the same problem again. Upon closer inspection, I found that the source of the leak was not the nozzle as initially suspected, but faulty gaskets on the tank. Despite attempts to adjust and reseat the tank, the leaking persisted, rendering the unit unreliable and potentially damaging to my home. To compound the issues, the filtered water occasionally emits an unpleasant odor. Even after multiple system flushes, which wasted a significant amount of water, the problem persists intermittently. For a product in this price range, such fundamental flaws are unacceptable. The combination of persistent leaks and inconsistent water quality makes this reverse osmosis system a disappointment. While the idea and design are promising, the implementation falls far short of expectations, making it difficult to recommend this product to others seeking a reliable water filtration solution.
- Doctor Timothy2024-07-07Fantastic Product--Fantastic Design--Amazing Water
This water filter system is well made from quality materials. It has some decent weight to it, especially when the water reservoir is full. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. Be sure to run through at least 3 tanks of water when new filters are installed. Also, it is important to discard the water remaining in the tank when the system has completed an entire cycle of filtering. Don't just add water to the residual in order to bring the level back up to the maximun line. The keypad on the front is easy to use. The unit doesn't require any plumbing, just plug it in and enjoy some very clean, awesome water. The item is correctly described by the seller. I am very pleased with this item and believe you will be as well. Therefore, Dr. T. highly recommends this product!!
