- Dave2024-07-08Great hose.
These hybrid hoses are a huge leap for air hoses. They remain flexible when cold, problem with rubber hoses. And they are not the tangle masters that the poly hoses are that do well in the cold. It used to be about trade offs when choosing an air hose but no more. Get a hybrid and you get a flexible soft hose that doesn’t want to tangle nor does cold weather make it stiff. Can it tangle? Of course it can but as long as you take a few reasonable steps it should not be an issue. Number one, when you first receive one of the new hybrid hoses all coiled up in a shipping friendly configuration, stretch it out in the sunshine and let it rest for an afternoon. Number two, when you coil it back up make coils as large as you can stretch. This will eliminate 99% of your issues and the hose will perform as intended. Don’t expect it to lay flat right out of the factory coil unless you have undertaken the above steps first. This particular hybrid hose is 3/8” x 50’ and is soft to the touch and I absolutely love the green. Not a huge fan of the stripe but I imagine it was added because we have to many lawyers. So I will let that slide. The quick connect is smooth in operation and accepts multiple styles of air fittings. Tip, When releasing a quick connect fitting push in on the tool and it will pop right off. Love the anodized green and it sports a nice reinforcement collar on both ends which will add to the longevity of this hose. I anticipate many hours slaving at the hot end of this hose and seeing that bright green hose will serve to add a smile to my face so that’s worth something, isn’t it? Overall this is as nice of an air hose I have seen lately and for dollars spent for acquisition it represents an excellent value. Especially when compared to the price of that other cool green one.

- H.B.2024-06-13More Attractive Than It Looks In The Product Photos. A Good Air Hose
I almost did not order this hose because (in my opinion) the product photos on Amazon make it look really ugly. I like to keep my shop looking nice. But after unboxing this EADUTY Hybrid Air Hose, I find it to be fairly attractive. It is definitely easy to spot it quickly. The matching green aluminum couplers is a nice touch in terms of appearance. At 618 grams for the 10ft x 3/8", it is about 40% lighter than a similar sized "old generation" rubber hose with brass couplers. These aluminum couplers, while better than most, are not my favorite. I prefer either Milton safety couplers or Coil Hose "push to connect". Either of those connect and disconnect much easier than these. At only 90 PSI, I struggled to get this coupler to disconnect. The Milton safety couplers are just fantastic in every way. You can find them here on Amazon. If you are not aware, there is a battle raging between rubber air hoses and hybrid air hoses. I tend to prefer rubber over hybrid air hoses -- but only if they are the new generation lightweight but strong rubber hoses. I definitely prefer hybrid over the older generation rubber air hoses. For more detail, here's a short history of air hose developments -- and how it applies to my review of the EADUTY Hybrid Air Hose. A few years ago, hybrid air hoses took the industry by storm. Rubber air hoses had long dominated, but within a short time hybrid hoses took over a large share of the market. Hybrid air hoses are made from a material that combines rubber, poly vinyl chloride (PVC), and sometimes other materials like polyurethane to enhance its properties. This blend results in a hose that is flexible, durable, and relatively lightweight. Hybrid hoses have a good, premium feel to the material. Most good hybrid air hoses have a 300 PSI working rating, and they generally have a 3:1 safety factor when new. Advantages of hybrid air hoses (compared to the old generation rubber hoses): - Durability: The hybrid material is claimed to be resistant to wear and tear, and it is claimed to be long-lasting. - Flexibility: Unlike old-style traditional rubber hoses, hybrid PVC hoses are more flexible. - Chemical Resistance: The material is resistant to oils and chemicals. - High Performance: These hoses are designed to be kink and twist-resistant, ensuring consistent air delivery for your tools. - All-Weather Use: The hoses are said to operate well in a wide range of temperatures, from -40°F to 164°F, making them suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. These advantages could have been the end of the road for rubber air hoses. I started buying all hybrid hoses for our shop after I learned of the material's advantages. But at least one company (RMX, the makers of BluBird air hoses) invested heavily in developing a new generation of rubber air hoses. These new "100%" rubber air hoses match the advantages of hybrid hoses and raise the bar in several areas. Advantages of the new generation of 100% rubber air hoses: - Pressure rating: They are generally rated at the same 300 PSI working pressure, but have a 4:1 safety factor (improving upon hybrid's 3:1). - Durability: Rubber is even more resistant to wear and tear, and it has proven to be long-lasting. - Flexibility: The new generation of 100% rubber air hoses are just as flexible as hybrid hoses. - Chemical Resistance: Rubber is highly resistant to oils and chemicals. It is also easier to clean than hybrid hoses. Dirt and grim seems to sink into the hybrid material, while it wipes off the rubber (in my experience). - All-Weather Use: The new generation of 100% rubber air hoses operate well (and stay flexible) in a even wider range of temperatures than hybrid. - Price: The new generation of 100% rubber air hoses are generally no more expensive than hybrid hoses. While shopping on Amazon I find the price to be equivalent. Even though I tend to prefer the new generation 100% rubber air hoses, this EADUTY Hybrid Air Hose is very good. It has the same 1200 PSI (4:1 margin) bursting rating as the new generation rubber air hoses, and it is a bit lighter (but not by much). It's a good hose. It probably deserves 5 stars, but my rating is 4.
- Mike Kelly2024-06-303/8 In. x 50 ft- Definitely Better Than The Black Bargain Brand Big Box Store Hoses
I bought a black hose from the local big box bargain brand tool store quite a while back. Right out of the box handling it left my hands oily and black. Wasn't long before it started showing signs of breakdown like cracking. Using it simply to add air to a tire on my way out somewhere was dreadful knowing that, just from handling, I would have to go back in to wash my hands before I left, maybe even change clothes if I got it against them. This hose has a nice smooth finish that leaves no signs of handling on my hands or clothes. Unrolling it for use and winding up to my preferred diameter for hanging resulted in only one twist, nothing that isn't normal when going from rolling up a hose to winding it up. If you have handled a lot of hoses, torch, water, air, etc, you know what I mean. The "push to connect" fitting takes some getting used to. Not because it doesn't work as it should or doesn't easily connect but because, after having used the pull back to connect fittings for so long, the fitting on this hose doesn't "look right" with the bearings showing when not connected. I first thought it was defective. I attached a blow gun to the fitting on this hose. Connected and sealed great. In the short time I've had this hose it seems to be a great product. If, over time, especially come Winter, I find out otherwise I'll come back to update. For now? Great product. Great value.
- Patrick Corwin2024-06-12Big upgrade over PVC hoses
I’ve had a hybrid air hose from another brand for a few years and almost exclusively use it instead of the cheap pvc hose that came with my compressor. However, sometimes I need to use a second hose and the pvc hose is always a tangled mess that is difficult to work with. I got this hose to replace that pvc hose once and for all. Upon arrival, the hose was much smaller and more compact than I expected as my other hose is 3/8 instead of 1/4 and takes up significantly more space. I liked the space saving nature and that it could easily fit in a tool bag, but was concerned about airflow. However, once I started using it, it had no trouble keeping up with my nailers. You might want the 3/8 size for impact tools and other high usage items, but for many tools, the 1/4” does fine and is less weight to drag around with you. The quality of the hose seems just as good as my other name brand hybrid hose. The color looks great and makes the hose easy to spot and the aluminum fittings seem high quality. The big appeal of this hose is that it has very little memory and tangles and twists much less than PVC hoses. If you’re tired of fighting with your air hose, do yourself a favor and throw out your old PVC hose and upgrade to a hybrid hose instead.
- Michael Federico2024-07-13Description says it: lightweight, and flexible.
Pros: -Good color; easier to find in the garage compared to my original black hose. -Love the swivel ends on the hose. This makes it perfect for my use. Just start to pull and it un-kinks on it's own. -Put it to use over a weekend constantly filling an old inflatable pool for the kids. -Seems well priced for this spec among others. Cons: -None yet during the first month of use.
- Woodbrook Garage2024-07-06A very good hose for the money
I needed another 20 feet or so of air hose to connect to my existing hose to reach cars out in my driveway parking area. When friends stop by I'll often notice a tire or two on the low side and I'll offer to add air. This hose will help me reach out to wherever they parked. The rubber is soft and I have hope that it will hold up for a good while without dry rotting like others I've owned. The built-in connecters seem robust enough for what I will ask of them and the hose rolls back up easily. For the money I don't think you can do much better than this one.
- Jeff T Lacey2024-07-02Durable, lays out flat, solid air hose
I've reviewed a number of Air hose's and these EADUTY Hybrid hose's are a good solid garage/handymen air hose. Tough enough to with stand walking on or equipment rolling across them. Mine are are being drug across gravel and concrete surfaces regularly as well as pulled around corners and obstacles. After several weeks they are showing little real wear. I expect these to last some time. To reduce excess bending at the air connections I generally use a 3ft lead in hose to my air tool. This allows the easily replaceable lead hose in to take most of the abuse at the point where air hoses tend to fail thus reducing wear and tear on the main hose. This is a good product.
- Ronald Russell2024-07-13Super nice, super flexible air hose
Very pleased with this hose. I got this hoping that it would be towards the very flexible air hose end of the spectrum, and I was not disappointed. Some hoses that have advertised high flexibility have not turned out so well, but this is a winner. This flexibility is such a huge advantage over the air hoses of my past- stiff and prone to tangles. They have been my nemesis in my over crowded shop, and a real fall hazard for klutzes such as myself. I have almost completely replaced all of my air hoses now with hoses of this "hybrid" material, and only wish it had been available years earlier. They tend to lay flat and are easy to maneuver around tools. I like the bright color as well. Jury is still out on the aluminum fittings, but I figure they can always be replaced.
- CJ2024-07-02Well-Made Heavy-Duty Air Hose
This is a solid, well-made and heavy air hose. I am a roofer, and I actually just got done running this hose on the job site today! The coupler and plug are solid built and connect/disconnect quickly and easily with no problems. The hose itself is made of a thick rubber that is very flexible and not too stiff, and is rated at 300psi operating pressure, which is higher than your standard, 200psi smaller braided flex hose. The only problem I had with the hose was specific to the job I was using it for... this is definitely on the heavier side and can be very cumbersome to use on fast-paced jobs like roofing, as well as siding and framing or any job that also requires extended pneumatic tool use as the heaviness adds a lot of carry weight. Overall, I really like this hose, and even though I had to trade it for a lighter one while roofing, I am looking forward to using this for filling up tires, air cleaning, repairs around the house, etc. or jobs that require higher pressure air.
