- Happy in the OC2024-07-15Decent quality hose
This is a decent quality hose good for light use. So far no leaking but not sure how it would hold up to heavy shop use. Its very light weight so its easy to move around or take out and put away. The couplings seem heavy duty and worked very well with different tools. 25 feet is a good length for garage use.

I grew up in a very modest lifestyle, and my family was always very conscious of whether we were getting our money's worth on purchases. Because of this I decided to check out one of the facts of this hose. This product is advertised as a 50' hose, so I measured it twice. My first measurement was 51' and my second measurement was 50 1/2'. I am uncertain as to the exact measurement, but I do feel certain that I was not getting shorted! Upon arrival the hose is rolled up tightly for shipping and I was worried that it would cause major problems with tangles. I live in Phoenix, Arizona, so I took it out in the sun at 110 degrees and let it sit for about 10 minutes. No problems with tangles! Lays flat and rolls up easily for storage. This hose is used in a woodworkers shop, and the hose slides easily across wood scraps and the concrete flooring. I have had no punctures or problems with nails or sharp wood scraps damaging the hose. Additionally, stepping on this hose presents no splitting problems, nor does dropping wood or small tools upon it. The hose is 1/4" polyurethane material reinforced for high pressure 300 PSI, and there were no leaks or signs of stress. The hose seems to provide adequate pressure to power the tools I use for woodworking. The 'quick disconnect' fittings are well made and fit nicely without any undue stress, leaks or complications. I use a small woodworkers' compressor and the universal fittings worked perfectly with the fittings on the compressor. Time will tell the durability of this hose, but initial inspections appear good.
- Robert H2024-07-16Easy-to-use, Flexible HD, 1/4" Poly Air Hose
I typically only use 3/8 ID air hose for running my larger shop air tools, such as impact guns, nailers, etc and run my large shop compressor around 160psi continuous, only limiting airflow at the device via smaller regulators. However, I wanted this 1/4" hose dedicated for my spray booth, which is on a dedicated "circuit" if you will, with lesser air flow (90psi max) but only usually run HVLP stuff at less than 30psi. Anyhow, I am decently pleased with the kink-free flexibility of the air hose. Once it's been unwound from it's tightly wound, shipped state, it eventually lays nicely on it's own and with a simple shake of the hose, will un-bind itself from potential knots nicely in my case. I however, always keep my shop temp around 70F to 75F (year around), so I cannot speak to an overly cold (unheated) environment, which "could" make it less friendly to unkinking. Anyhow, the quick couplers (so far) are working as intended, although I can't speak to their longevity yet, as I've only had this hose in use for a short while. I will say that these "quick-disconnect" style couplers (although convenient) often fail prematurely (regardless of brand), in my experience. If they do, then I'll update this review accordingly. Until then, I gladly recommend this product to others.
- Patrick2024-07-12Decent hose with good fittings, nice for light work
This is a good hose to have coiled on the wall for when you need to do things like filling car/bike tires, etc. Smaller diameter versions are good for small tasks, if you want to run tools i'd go with a 3/8. Fittings are ok, decent seal, no leaks thus far. Hose feels a little stiff so either speaks to good quality or cheap quality, not quite sure yet. Because its a smaller, single layer hose, watch out for kinks, it likes to do that.

EADUTY Heavy Duty Reinforced Polyurethane Air Hose 1/4 in x 100 ft Great framer's line, pulls easily through framing or across rafters without getting hung up versus rubber hoses. Lightweight so it doesn't want to sag down when framing overhead running across rafters or ceiling joists and much easier to pull across plywood decking. Lay it out straight in the sun for about 20 minutes and it will take all of the tight curls out of it. Connect the ends together and roll up in double to about a 3' loop and you will only have about 8 loops total to roll up 100', which is a lot quicker and easier and less chance to get tangled. The couplers worked fine with my Paslode framing nailer, WEN coil nailer and Hitachi finish nailer. No leaks and easy to connect and remove. The same hose at H o m e D e p o t is 44.98 without the couplers and I know because I just bought one last month and this hose is the exact same. I'm using them together, so I'll have a good comparison to how this one holds up to the big box home improvement store version and will update my review if it doesn't last. So far, so good. Shipped and received fast!
- AvgJoe2024-07-02Seems OK in the Warm Weather
This is a very thin/light hose. That could be a good thing or a bad thing. It does "grow" a bit when pressurized to ~105PSI, but it sure is light. No issues with dexterity when using the trim nailer or touch-up spray gun. The hose seems to lay flat and coil up just fine, but what hose wouldn't in 90+degree weather? The included universal female coupler is quite a bit smaller than I expected and it works GREAT with the ARO "Type A" fittings I've standardized on. The provided male end is not compatible with my other "real" ARO couplers, so I had to swap it out. The aluminum construction of the coupler concerns me from a durability perspective - I'll enjoy it while it lasts, then swap it for a steel ARO coupler when it dies. At the current sub-$30 price point for 50 feet, it's not a particularly good value, although the universal coupler adds a couple bucks of value over a standard I/M coupler. I see that there are also 100-foot options, which seem to be priced at a more attractive price point.
- S. Bean2024-07-03Very nice, flexible under pressure
I can't really judge durability yet, but so far I'm most impressed. It came with quick disconnects on both ends so I don't have to add them like I've had to do in the past. I have the 100' hose and it came pretty tightly wrapped. I won't lie, it was a tangled mess after I cut the straps but after a couple minutes of aggravation, I spread it out and let it settle into a more "natural" coil. It is much thinner and lighter than my old hose, admittedly a cheap, discount hose I bought in leaner times. It connects cleanly and doesn't leak. I use it at about 130 psi and had no problems. It coils up easily, much like an extension cord. There is a bit of a "lay" to it, but it's smooth under pressure, which surprised me. Without pressure it's almost rope like. Not sure I even need the flexible extension on the tool end. So far, I like it.
- Amazon Customer2024-07-14Good hose for all trades
The house is nice and flexible, the quick connects were the same size as my finish and framing guns so that worked out great. I didn't realize how much lighter the aluminum couplings would be compared to my old steel ones, feels good and solid without being heavy. I also like the smaller diameter and it doesn't leave marks when dragging across surfaces.
- trd8082024-07-15good lightweight air hose, but not recommended for heavy foot traffic area
This is a good light weight hose, but I would not recommend having wheelbarrows or heavy objects rolling over this hose. It will puncture easy. The fittings are good quality and worked with my setup with no problem. The hose is very flexible so coiling up this hose was very easy.
- Silly Rabbit2024-07-09Heavy Duty Reinforced Polyurethane Air Hose 1/4 in x 100 ft, Lightweight
I don't know if I would call this 'heavy duty' but it sure is lightweight and functional for your average homeowner who will not be dragging a hose across the driveway or garage floor every day... I actually picked this up because I needed to make four 20 foot hoses for a special application, although cutting up a factory hose isn't ideal at the current price it was way cheaper than comparable by the foot hose locally, pulse I was able to salvage the quick connects from both ends to use on another hose or tool...
