This is a huge upgrade from the basic 1 or 2 speed budget big box heat guns I've used. I do lot of heat shrink tubing and then the heaviest thing I do is removing decals/graphics from cars. To get the reflective stripes and logos off a retired police car you need a good heat gun and then roll it off with your thumb, and this will be great and hopefully a time saver. Have to store it in the cardboard box. I do wish they included some kind of storage bag or plastic case for it all even if they had to raise the price a couple bucks it would make it more complete for people.

For $48 you get this cordless digital temperature control heat gun. It works ok, but it takes a while to get up to the desire temperature (close to 30s to reach 500 F) The 4 nozzles is a little to big to stay on and keeps falling off (you'll have to bend in each of the four cut slot to make a tight fit.) It also comes with a paint scrapper. The heat gun has one LED light which might not be bright enough. The version I got uses 20V Dewalt battery (not included) Overall, kind of expensive without the battery.

This is compatible with my Dewalt and helps remove stickers, paint, anything needing a heat gun. Love that I'm not constrained by outlets, this is lightweight and easy to use.
