Online guidelines for ultrasonic cleaners recommend using a basket to get the best results possible. The basket enables the cleaning fluid to freely circulate around parts, and the ultrasonic waves are able to reach every surface and penetrate cavities. Photos show this with my Gisaae ultrasonic cleaner. If I use the plastic pedestal with the basket, then it is too high to put the cover on. Using without the pedestal works fine.

I know this is totally not what this was for, but it's totally what I got it for! The larger rectangular cage I got specifically for brewing tie iced tea. It is surprising how much tea leaf you need to use to make tie iced tea nice and strong without turning bitter. For this I needed a much bigger tea cage. I think this is the perfect size! The round one is also identical in size and mechanism to one I've had for a while that a friend gave me. That's how I knew these would work for tea.

I was literally making a small basket out of some steel screen to use in the ultrasonic cleaner for small parts (bolts, hardware, or even rings). This has two sizes of baskets and works great for small parts. Sure would recommend!

These are small for smaller jewelry, but they will get the job done in an ultrasonic cleaner. They are light and somewhat easy to bend or break. So you will have to have a light touch to use them. They will hold earings, rings and necklesses that don't have any large attachments to them. Otherwise they work fine.

IMHO these baskets are a brilliant reimagining of the traditional tea infuser ball. This unique use of the ball/basket is so obvious once you see it! The baskets are made out of strong mesh material and the clasps close firmly and keeps the objects inside the baskets while in the Ultrasonic Cleaner. Now I have to go clean all my jewelry! ;) Two Thumbs Up for thinking outside the box!
