We got the second one to keep at my mother-in-law's house for her pool, as she often dog-sits for us. Now, our dog is always included in the fun, no matter where we are. We haven't actually got this on the boat yet, but as soon as we do I will update the review. This dog ramp should solve our troubles of trying to get the dog on and off the boat when we are out for a long day on the water. We have tried various types of homemade ramps, but have not been able to easily get the dog back into the boat after he goes in the water. This ramp is very sturdy and the part the dog walks on seems plenty sturdy enough to tolerate dog nails. It blows up in less than a minute, so I don't picture us keeping it inflated on the boat. It is so quick to blow up that we can just keep it deflated until we need it. That is fantastic because this thing is far wider than I feel like it needs to be. If we left it inflated we would have a hard time finding space for it on our little bass boat.

If you like to spend time on the water, and take your pup along, then this inflatable ramp will be so much fun for your furry friend(s). It is easy for them to use, it gives them a place to lay and remain in the water to keep cool, they can lay on the platform, or they can use it to jump in and out of the water, so it is kind of all in one for them. It is easy to inflate and is very strong and sturdy, though I do suggest keeping your pets’ nails trimmed to reduce the likelihood of causing a puncture. It’s easy to store and you can even attach it to an inflatable dock, so you and your pet can enjoy the water and sun together. This is a perfect pup-cessory!

We got this as a dog floaoter in the pool which the dogs could get up onto without help. As you can see, Odie is enjoying being pool lazy :-) Its really solid, strong claw resistant covering, and angled fabric with rungs that that makes it easy for them to get up on it from out of the water. Its meant for boats, but works for pools as well.
