- TheScoskopp2024-07-07Extremely handy charging cable. Has an issue though. See Review.
This cable is a well-made flat braided cable giving you extra room being its compact as well as going to last due to the quality build. The cable holds true to its fast-charging capabilities and will vary depending on the type of fast charger you use. The cable is quite impressive. (HOWEVER PLEASE NOTE: pay attention to not over charge whether charging too long or going over voltage or amperage on devices. Every battery in any and every device has a voltage and amperage limit, and you can damage your battery quite easily so be careful and do research. This will apply more so to the charger than this cable.) I love that this cable has a 4 in 1 option as it pretty much hits every combination you would need to use at any given point. The end points are snappy and secure. Thus far, the only issue I've run into is the plastic on the charging cable ends are not recessed back enough to fit into some cases on mobile devices meaning you have to take the case off to charge the mobile device. I have had this happen on multiple iPhone and cases along with Samsung devices and cases as they are the 2 most popular brands currently during my testing. This even happened with some laptops and desktops. This really just applies to the lightning and USB-C portions of the cable which I would like to see that fixed or adjusted in the future. Who wants to take their phone case off every time they want to charge their phone to use this cable? At the end of the day, it's still going to be a useful 4-foot cable and will absolutely have its uses. The construction of the cable is great, it just needs a revision. As I said, as of now, you won't be able to use this cable with many cases on your mobile devices. I will also say, I think I would have preferred the 6-foot version they had but at the time they only had the 4-foot available. Other than that, the cable has a ton of potential and for what it does its great. It's just unfortunate that most cables like these don't provide enough clearance on the male portion of the cable which hinders the use of what could be a great cable. I'm going to rate this cable 2 stars unfortunately, the cable is great quality material and it being well made doesn't hurt, that with the 4 in 1 option which is definitely handy, it should be a win. Right? However, I am at a crossroads with this product because on the other hand if I can't use it with all my products or I have to take cases off my phones and tablets to use it, it's not as handy as it should be, so I feel 2 stars is an appropriate rating and I hope to see a revision of this product. They got a lot done right with this cable and it would be almost perfect had they thought about making more clearance on the male portions of all four male plugins. 2-star rating with SO much potential.

This charger charged my devices consistently and reliably at a high-speed. The only con is that I had to take my case off to charge my phone because the end of the cord is a little bit thick.
- naj.a2024-07-03Durable, neatly made, and versatile charging+data transfer cable for every situation
At a glance: + Premium quality and built for durability with impressive specs + Fast 60W charging + Fast data transfer + Versatile with 4 different ports to mix and match and adapt to any charging situation + The two ends (USB-A and Lightning Port) are detachable in case you don't won't need them + Lifetime warranty - A little bit on the pricey end - Packaging feels a bit cheap _____ This is a pretty versatile cable that can come in handy in many different and tricky situations. It is great to keep in your bag or drawer for whenever you need to recharge your dying phone or device. This “Transformer” of a cable can morph from a Lightning Port to USB-C on one end, and from USB-A to USB-C on the other. Which means it can also mix and match any of these ends depending on your needs and the availability of ports you have at hand. Pretty useful and handy, if you ask me. Since I don’t have an iPhone (nor will I ever own one), I like the ability to simply detach the Lightning Port’s bit and keep the underlying USB-C one, to keep the process of plugging the port faster and more straightforward. The cable supports ultra-fast speeds up to 60W, and fast data transfer as well. The cable itself is nylon-braided, which means it will be more durable in the long run. Additionally, the joints are designed with additional rubber protection that will give them longer durability against bending. The cable comes with a velcro tie to keep it tidily rolled when not in use. The design is an interesting mix of industrial and futuristic style with two different color accents to choose from. The cable looks well-made and finished (the specially developed Titan alloy sports impressive specs, and the product comes with an equally impressive lifetime warranty). The packaging, however, could have been better (looks a bit cheapish, especially the inside plastic tray), but that’s not a deal-breaker. The premium specs of the cable overall can justify the price point in my opinion, and the packaging quality won’t snatch more than half a point of the score at most, so the 5 stars remain!

I have a high-power charging block plugged into my charging table next to the couch and had both a USB C and Lightning cable coming out of it. Both cables were white and sat on top of the dark wood table. When my wife saw this dark grey one that could do both USB C and Lightning and would blend into the wood better, she wanted it so it would look better. This new breed of cables, with multiple end types that stay attached, are also great to have for traveling as you can carry one cable and it will work with almost any power block or USB outlet and any device. This one has a little cord wrap attached so you can wind the cord up and secure it properly as well. This is a high quality flat braided cable with solid metal ends that easily changes between USB A and USB C on one end and USB C and Lightning on the other end. The USB C to USB C is rated at 60w so can charge most of the newer high speed charging devices like iPads and even my Microsoft Surface. This one has a little LED light that goes on when the cable is connected to a charging block and the Lightning connector is selected. It isn’t very bright but is visible and is only on one side. So if you want to see the light, you can put the cable the right way to be able to see the light and if you don’t want to see it, turn the cable over or detach the Lightning end.

With all the different connectors for my various Apple devices, I was interested in some of the multi-connector cables out there. XKCZ USB C Cable offers a combination of a lightning connector at one end and a USB-A at the other. You can switch to USB-C connectors by pulling on the sliding ends and swiveling them out of the way. The ends of the cable are made of metal and feel decently sturdy. While most cables are 3 feet, the extra foot is much appreciated. I like that the cable is flat with a nylon fabric covering—it’s very flexible and resists kinking. It feels well made, however, when you’re using the USB-C connectors, there’s no way to lock the other connectors in place so the ends swivel around loosely when you’re trying to attach the cord to the device, making it a bit difficult to connect. There’s a blue LED that indicates power on the lightning end, but only illuminates when you’re using the lightning connector. The LED is quite bright and might annoy people who are charging at bedtime. It’s only on one side of the lighting connector, so you can turn it face down at night. I wasn’t able to determine if the cable can charge at 60 watts. An iOS app reported 30 watts using a 96 watt power brick to charge my iPad Pro—the wattage is probably affected by Apple’s power management software.
- Ross2024-07-08Strong and very well made fast charger cable
These are really well made charging cables. They did fast charge my Samsung S23. They ends are made of metal and lock in well but are still easy to switch between the USB C or USB A. It worked well from USB C to USB C charging and USB A to USB C to my Samsung S23. I have not tried the lighting charging with an Iphone so am not sure how that works. I got this for traveling in case there is a USB A or USB C charging port available it's nice to have both options with just one cable.
- Krystle Hope2024-07-12usb-c works better than the usb
Charges quickly, works well. It charges faster using the USB-c than it does using just the USB
- Evalu8or2024-07-02Good multi-plug cable
This cable feels very sturdy and well made. The braided flat cord is nice and neat. I tested all configurations of this cable and they all worked. The base of the lightning cable is too thick to plug into my iPad and iPhone with in their cases. I haven't had that problem with other cables I have purchased. The cord is short at 4 ft which limits its versatility. That said, it is still a very nice cable. I hope they make them in 6 ft too.
- Andi S.2024-07-02Multi-used Cable!!
This is the first I get this type of cable. The connectors on both ends can be customized based on your device charging type and the power block that you connect with. It can be for any combination of all the devices that I used (Lightning, USB, USB C). This makes traveling a lot easier, no more cables "get left behind". The cable build quality is also great. Hope this will last long, I would recommend this cable.
- TheBestBuyer2024-07-08Doesn’t work with Apple’s case, or pretty much any case
I get surprised by products like this one that are so simple and meant to do one job, and then fail in doing that one simple job: connecting to the phone and charging it. This cable’s lightning connector can’t connect/click into the iPhone if the phone is in Apple’s standard case, or pretty much any case, and I have tested with a few. The same holds true if you wish to use the USB-C instead. The lightning and USB-C connectors on this cable do not protrude enough to account for the thickness of the case, and because the connector itself is too bulky, there’s no case that will have such a big cutout at the bottom. Another big issue with this cable is that the lightning connector has a lot of left-right play when connected to an iPhone compared to Apple’s original lightning cable. While Apple’s original cable is pretty snug when connected and has almost no play, this cable, even with the phone case removed, moves a lot after being clicked into the port. Another annoying thing about this cable is that it glows in the dark on the charging end. This is particularly problematic as I tend to charge my phone at night, and I really don’t need any additional lights on my nightstand. I just wonder how they came to the idea to put an LED on the cable, as none of the high-quality or branded cables ever glow in the dark for obvious reasons. On a positive note, the cable looks nice and seems to be robustly built, but I’m hesitant to say that because it seems that the USB-C and lightning connectors have some play and are not built to spec perfectly. I’m not sure I would recommend this product unless you have a very specific use case, like needing a flat charging cable that has an LED indicator when powered and you are not going to use it for charging phones or tablets that are in a case.
