This furniture lift is easy to use and well-built mechanically with quality material. It comes with rubber padding for the base and lifting fork, The lift is light enough to operate with one hand easily. The width of the grip is right-sized to lift the furniture smoothly and evenly with each squeeze.

Looking at the manual (see my pictures), it pictures "retaining clamps" in 8 different pictures yet no "retaining clamps' arrived with the product. This means this cannot be use as a 'clamp' - at all. To be fair, in the pictures supplied by the vendor there are no images or mention of these 'retaining clamps'. What's going on? Is the manual for a different product? Everything is the same except for the color of the jack and the missing clamps. Doing a quick test with a few different things, this lifting jack tool tool works well and is certainly sturdy. Fit, finish and construction is quite good. Operation is easy and smooth. The rubber coated bottom is a nice touch. It also came with a pair of gloves which are a bit small for my hands. However, there are no clamps which somewhat limits the usefulness of the tool. There are mounting holes for the clamps - but no clamps. I find it confusing and annoying when the manual and the product do not match up. Did I get the right product and the wrong manual or did I get the right manual and the wrong product? Maybe I will get lucky and someone at NAVIKIA customer service will see this and set the record straight. I would like to have those clamps but at the very least, the vendor should get that 'manual' issue straightened out. No doubt others will see this and have the same issues I do. Should I get either some clamps or a good reason as to why they are missing, I will revisit this review and post an edit. In the mean time, 3 stars is the best I can do. This would have easily been a 5 star review but as I described above, there are some issues that need to be addressed. EDIT: A VERY QUICK RESPONSE FROM NAVIKIA CUSTOMER SERVICE CLARIFIED THE CONFUSION WITH THE RECEIVED PRODUCT AND THE WRONG MANUAL THAT CAME WITH IT. GOOD TO KNOW THEY ARE PAYING ATTENTION AND CARE ENOUGH TO CLARIFY THIS ISSUE FOR FUTURE PURCHASERS. FUTURE SHIPMENTS WILL HAVE AN UPDATED MANUAL THAT DOES NOT SHOW THE CLAMPS WHICH ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THIS MODEL. KUDOS TO NAVIKIA FOR FIXING THIS ISSUE SO QUICKLY.

I used these to lift a double closet my wife has full of craft items and supplies. It is rather heavy and we were having trouble getting it lifted up and onto a moving dolly. These worked Very well. We were able to get the one end up and onto the rolling furniture moving dolly. Then we used these to lift the second end up and get it up on onto a dolly as well. These sure made a hard task rather easy. I would recommend these to anyone having to move heavy items to get then up to where you can get them on a movable platform

I needed these to help manage hanging drywall with little or no assistance, when I just need to position the pieces accurately. They are just the ticket for this job. In fact, any job where you need to hold something in position while you fasten it. They are substantial enough to hold hundreds of pounds.
