I work in the engineering field and use o-scopes and signal generators regularly. Those units are bulky and very pricey. This unit allows the home tech to have access to three common tools and have more flexibility when troubleshooting. I tested all three modes and they do work. I'm sure the accuracy will not be as accurate as some of the other laboratory machines, but it will be close enough to help you solve your problems. I only gave it 4 stars because if it came with a case that would have been perfect. The manual was easy to read and so is the display. It did come with 2 10x probes, and that is also a plus. I would recommend this unit.

This is the second Oscilloscope I've received for review with about the same price point and I think this one is really nice and works very well. The buttons to change the settings were pretty intuitive in my opinion and I didn't need to check the guide to figure out how to get the modes I needed. I was able to get accurate reads in several different modes. This one did not include a carrying case like the other I reviewed did, but I'd rather have to purchase my own bag to get an accurate tool verses get a nice bag but the tool doesn't function correctly. I'm really impressed with this for the price and think it's a great value.

This is not going to replace your bench scope, and it's not going to be the tool of the professionals. With that said, if you need a basic scope / multimeter combination with a bonus signal generator, this will likely do. Instructions aren't that great, but you can probably figure it out if you're inclined to do so. It comes with 2 10 MHz probes, meter probes, charges via USB, and is relatively easy to figure out. Basic tests on some electronic circuits shows it's relatively accurate. This may work well for testing vintage computers, looking at small microcontroller circuits, etc. - the possibilities are endless and the value is there.
