I'm partially hesitant to use these to tune out the world. These fit very comfortably and I may pack in my overnight travel bag to be prepared. I like the little pill case these came in and it doesn't hold all the parts in the case. The presentation was really nice. Just save the box with a few alcohol wipes in it if you need to adjust. That way you can clean them in the moment if swapping out parts. I've had an item change on me in the far past. I perform focused work in an office frought with distractions: a noisy HVAC system; coughing colleagues; bantering coworkers; etc. After taking the Loop Quiz to find the earbuds of best fit for my use case, Loop Quiet 2 was recommended. I ordered a white pair to match my pale skin in hopes of not drawing attention to the earplugs while in the office. I was immediately impressed by how comfortable they felt, especially in comparison to another off-brand that I had purchased a month or two beforehand. As far as noise blockage, I was still aware of general noises within the office but the racket was considerably blunted and far less distracting; if you try these and experience anything to the contrary, I encourage you to give the earplugs a little twist while applying a modicum of force upon your ear until you feel a "sealing" sensation (as the manual also notes). As a bonus, if someone popped into my office, I could still comfortably carry on a conversation while they person was about four feet from me — although it's not at all a hassle to remove the earplugs quickly if need be (and the same applies to reinsertion). There's even a handy carrying case, which feels very premium and should help you take great care of your investment; you'll not want to misplace these once you get spoiled by them. After ordering a pair for the office, I ordered a black pair to match my sleeping mask at home. I now use Loop Quiet 2 for hours every day. Give Loop a try! I suspect you will not be disappointed.

What kind of magic is this?? I am Nuero- spicy and cannot focus or sleep with fans and droning air conditioners. These Quiet 2 plugs completely cut out the fan noise, but I hear every nuance in the tv movie playing at the same time!! A real alternative to my hearing aids. Can’t wait to sleep in them. Buy these if you have misphonia and things like chimes, fans and ticking clocks make you crazy!!

I ordered these not because I use earplugs often, but when I do, they come in handy.. I've never tried a pair as nice as these before so I had to test them out. First, these are the softest earplugs I have ever felt. They are beyond comfortable so you can leave them in for long periods of time. They come with 4 different sizes so you can't go wrong. I especially like this because I use a different size for each ear. I ordered the violet color & it's as pretty as it is pictured. The little hook on the travel case is good because although I love that it's small enough to travel with, I worry about losing it so you can use that to tie or hang with. Putting them in is really easy, the book shows you how. As for noise-reducing, they do block a lot out. For example, with the tv & fan on, it completely eliminated the fan sound and the tv sounded far, like it was in monotone. Turned the tv off too & I couldn't hear anything but myself breathing. With all the fireworks going off this summer, it takes the edge off of the big booming ones. They sound much further away & dull, which I like. Less chance of being startled. I think these are luxurious so I would recommend them. As for the price, it could be justified since they really are amazing. They come with everything you'll need and seem really durable. These will last a long time so I imagine they'll be the last pair you'd buy for a good while.

I got these for a little protection at the rodeo. I am not looking for silence or anything, but after days at the rodeo the noise gets to be too much and leads to headaches and such for myself. I did a little research and it appears that this design (not Loops specifically) but this design is meant more to eliminate much of the vibration of the ear drums more than to block so much of the noise. They are definitely noise reducing, but you could still carry on a conversation without yelling while leaving them in place. I think of them as just a buffer to some of the noise. The addition of the case (great for pockets) and other sized buds makes them usable by anyone.

I have loved Loop earplugs for a while now. They make a variety (many I’ve tested) but until now I’ve never tried out the “quiet” ones that are simply comfortable ear plugs not designed for concerts or percussive environments. These are a set of Loop Quiet with a set of adjustable silicone ear plugs at the end of the recognizable loop piece. They fit comfortable in my ear, and since I have two different ear sizes I chose the ends that fit me best and went with that. The earplugs come with a convenient carry case as well as three other sizes of plugs. I use these for sleeping since I need quiet to snooze. After using them for over a week, I can say they stay in most of the time (I have a “problem ear” so that side does like to fall out. ) they definitely muffle sounds. Overall I love Loops and was happy to see a version made to just quiet ambient noise. These are not concert earbuds or designed for super loud environments. These just help reduce ambient noise and they come in several fun colors.

They come with multiple sized ear pieces so you can personalize for just the right fit for you. Then it comes with a case for the earplugs and the case has a nice little loop on it so you can add it to your key chain or if your bag has a carabiner you can hook it to your bag. These are a great "take along item" for when you stay in a hotel and you got noisy, rude neighbors. As a person who lives on acreage in the company and is use to quiet and solitude, these are great to have on hand when I am in "the big city". They reduce noise enough I can get a peaceful sleep. WIN!

I've gotten a few no-name silicone earplugs and was really hoping the loops would live up to their prestige. They're certainly presented better, and have a much nicer carrying case, but I suppose there's only so much differentiation you can do with a piece of silicone that blocks your ear canal. They're nice, but you can save quite a bit of money looking elsewhere.

I have a form of tinnitus in one ear that pulses at night and can wake me up and keep me awake sometimes. My wife likes to sleep with a fan on and that is enough noise to activate it. These sleep buds have been a Godsend for me. They come with small, medium, and large silicone tips that are easy to change. I started with the pre-installed medium tips and they stayed in all night. I just press them into my ear canal with a slight twist to get the loop lined up correctly. They also come out very easily. These buds come with a small carrying case as well. I can recommend this product.

The manufacturer wants you to be fully informed about hearing protection in general, even to the point of noting that is you choose to use a connecting cord (not included) do not use it where it might get caught. Do not remove the earplugs by pulling on the connecting cord. There are XS, S, M, and L plugs. M comes pre-installed. I'm sure many purchasers will assume they are M and therefore the plugs will be uncomfortable. As the manufacturer suggests, try the various sizes in each ear. I was actually an XS and an S. These are silicon. These are not the one-size-fits-all foam.
