These appear to be identical to those sold by Sportys and other pilot shops, except that they come with a hard case, which is great for keeping them unscratched in your flight bag. My CFI always cuts the clear part away because they get scratched up so quickly, but so far mine are staying pristine. I like the adjustable ear pieces but prefer another brand which has straight ("bayonet") temples so they can be swapped under earphones. These work alone or over eyeglasses as well. Five stars.

seem to work well so far

I finally got a chance to fly with these and I'm impressed. They are well constructed and they have variable arms so they can fit people like me with a big melon. They have work fine in flight and it's hard to peek outside the airplane with them. They come in a quality plastic box that I don't think will get crushed in the flight bag. They include a retention strap for around the neck. (These have a name but I can't remember it!) They also come with a large lint free cloth for cleaning. The red tip of the arms is softer rubber which probably helps with comfort. In flight, they work fine but as with all "Foggles", the arms get a little crushed under the headset and it gets uncomfortable after awhile. I don't mind terribly and I'm willing to put up with it. I am impressed with the quality of this product. I don't think it's a cheap knock-off but instead, I think it's a serious attempt to build a useful product that will last for a long time. I recommend this product.

I actually got these since they seemed like a cheap option for light safety glasses to wear for some small DIY work I’m doing. All in all, they work fine for my purposes but the quality is meh. The plastic feels on the cheaper side and would easily snap if pressure is applied. It’s flexible enough to be lightweight and conform to various head sizes, but I wouldn’t expect these to lost a long time. The little rubber ends that come off to put the neck strap on are also on the cheaper side, don’t really fit perfectly and aren’t very easy to remove. The nice thing though is that these are very light and feel comfortable enough on my face. They are also large enough to cover my eyes fully and have the side guards as well. They don’t cover below or above the lenses though so there is plenty of air flow. I believe these are meant to be used to train for foggy conditions while flying as the top portion of the glasses are nearly entirely opaque and obscure vision but let light in. If you tilt your head down to look through the top, you won’t be able to see anything. But looking normally, you barely notice the top portion. Overall they work for what I needed them for but I’d probably buy dedicated shop safety glasses if I had to do it again. For their typical purpose, hopefully the above can help you make an informed decision on whether they’ll be right for you.

I had a cheap pair of foggles that I needed to upgrade while working on my instrument rating. These are much sturdier feeling than my first pair. The case is strong and prevents them from getting smashed in the bottom of my flight bag.

Save yourself the embarrassment of having to wear that goofy looking gray plastic hood (that some joker drew eyes on with a sharpie) floating around in the backseat of the airplane, or even worse, the horror of other student's nose and head sweat on the instructor's set of foggles! These have adjustable temples, and are reasonably flat to go under your headset seals. A a neck cord is included so your personal foggles don't get scratched falling onto the floor of the cockpit. A hard case and cleaning cloth is also included. A great value, much nicer than ye olde hood or having to share, and at this price every student can have their own. Grab a pad of sticky notes and a safety pilot/instructor and get to work!

These do a great job of fogging out your vision so you can only see your instruments but they can easily be taken off to safely hang around your neck. The glasses themselves are good quality-wise, they're a good budget option.

I'm currently a student pilot, so I will not be using these too much, but eventually when I work on my instrument rating these will come in handy alot for training IFR in VMC. It also come with a nice Hard case, so I can put it in my flight bag without being worried that it will break
