It's obvious that this oscilloscope was originally intended for the Chinese market. The front part of the instruction manual is written in Chinese. English comes second. As a non-professional, it's hard for me to evaluate this product. I'm commenting as a lay person as some of you may be. I intended to use this to evaluate the quality of my electricity in my home. I have been having issues, so I was hoping this oscilloscope could help me with this. However, don't rely on the instruction manual for help. You really need to look at outside online sources of you want to know how this thing works. I think I'm going to fiddle around with this for the next couple of months, and I'll update my review if my opinion changes. Right now, it seems that this is a good value for what you're getting. Yes, the instruction manual is wanting, and the controls on the machines itself might be a bit confusing (probably not for an electrician). But, given the price, it appears to be a good deal. It definitely does what it's supposed to do.
- Dan2024-06-28Great quality and value
For the price, that I got it for, at a 30% discount, this is a great deal. It performs better than expected, and the only negative is the misspelled 'Function' button. I updated the firmware, and they still did not correct that button misspelling, so that is a concern. Other than that cosmetic issue, it is still a great device. The battery life is great, and there are no other scopes with these specs for this price, especially with a touchscreen, which I really like.
- Customer Review2024-07-13Capable scope, DVM, and signal generator
This is a pretty capable o-scope, DVM, and signal generator, at an appropriate price. The manual is bare-bones. You need to be familiar with all the basic functions of an oscilloscope (and DVM and signal generator) before using this; the manual is just going to tell you where to find the controls. As is typical for a Chinese device, the manual (and the device itself) are rife with misspellings and Chingrish. The on-screen controls work, but can be inconsistent at times. For example, when you tap on the appropriate con to adjust the vertical range, probe type, or coupling type, a scroll wheel is presented to create the setting. However, tapping the horizontal (time) button does not give you any wheel, you need to tap on the left or right side of the main display screen to change this setting. The kit comes with voltage probes for the DVM, and a switchable 1X/10X probe for the oscope. The box has a padded insert, making it a convenitent carry case for the scope. Without the box, the scope is very small and compact, almost small enough to fit into a pocket, making it a great portable tool. The oscilloscope portion of this tool is capable of performing various measurements on a signal, such as peak-to-peak and RMS voltages. It would be nice if the DVM did this as well, but you only get the basics. The DVM has an 'auto' function as well, allowing you to perform many measurements without fidgeting with the controls. In addition to the common port and the V/ohm/diode/etc port, you get a separate port for mA-level currents, and one for currents up to 10A. All in all, a great tool!

Not the fastest scope, but works great for automotive use. Already diagnosed an intermittent CAN bus issue. Next going to try out multimeter and use for parasitic draw testing. Used most of the day on scope function and battery life is excellent.

Great value. I saw a review by Shango066 on YouTube and agree it's a nice addition to my test bench.

. This is a awesome scope. Very good quality. With all the accessories and it's operating parameters makes this a very good value for me. I'm very delighted over this scope. My main favorite is selecting the main scope function. scope, multimeter, etc. The super portability just knocks me out. Take it anywhere. Now that I have had time to use it, I'm donating all my analog scopes to a museum. I have to offer a caveat for my excitement over this unit. You have to understand - I use a lot of analog stuff. I still have my first scope from a leader in the field that's over fifty years old and is serial number #00000006 I got in 1982. I'm used to 20th century boat anchor scopes.
- rpesq2024-07-17a lot of test gear for the price but has some serious flaws and missing features
The GOOD is that you get 4 basic test instruments in one device: multimeter, signal generator, oscilloscope, and since the oscilloscope can show frequency, that means you have a frequency counter. It is also GOOD that you can use the signal generator SIMULTANEOUSLY with the oscilloscope, therefore you can use the device to input a signal and the oscilloscope to trace the signal. The BAD is that, in my opinion, the firmware is buggy. For example, the signal generator has a LOT of distortion on the bottom of the sine wave signal, and that gets much worse as the frequency increases. Also BAD is that, in my previous experience with FNIRSI products, I dont think that they do a very good job of fixing bugs with firmware updates. Updates are typically few and far between, if any, and typically dont fix much at all. ALSO BAD is that the SIGNAL GENERATOR does not have provisions for generating an RF modulated signal, such as AM modulation or FM modulation, both of which is something that a home technician (probably the target market for this kind of device) could need while doing tuner or receiver repairs. So in conclusion, the device is not bad but in my opinion there is no valid reason why it has so many bugs and missing features. It could be excellent with some better firmware programming. But as of now, it is definitely NOT excellent.
- William2024-07-06Nice oscilloscope, bad instructions
I like this scope for the bright display, touch screen, and ease of use. It is big enough to see what I need to see and yet still portable. I found it a little challenging to get it set up properly to see the waveforms of my power inverters, but I did manage to finally get it done. Instructions are extremely basic and really don't tell you anything at all. If you haven't used one before then you will need to go online to get help. It does provide you a nice set of probes and it does have a nice set of functions. Overall, it is a good scope that works.
- Tim T.2024-06-22Digital test bench meter on the go
Works as expected. Gives you multiple electrics tools on the go with a decent sized screen. Comes with the basic connectors you'd need to diagnose and test things on the field.
- Jtech2024-06-12Pretty impressive for a small device, touchscreen is so much simpler than old setups
Got this because sometimes want to check a signal but don't feel like getting out a big old style unit or don't have power handy. I was skeptical of this being what they claimed at first but it seems fairly decent and accurate. Tochscreen is much simpler than old button type controls on scopes. This also has auto measurment modes. I tested voltage, resistance, scope, signal generator modes. This comes with two BNC scope leads and clip on color bands and also multimeter probes and a signal generator lead as well as a USB C cord for charge/data. Dislikes are ohm meter continuity buzzer is very slow taking 1-2 seconds to activate. And some of the touch controls that are basically two options use a scroll wheel instead of just a check box or having the option to just hit the selection on the menu. The wheel format works but i find kind of clunky.
