- A BookReader2024-07-14EXCELLENT! Cats love it and it is Quiet - No Annoying Chirping Noise
This is rechargeable and combines two types of toys that my two cats love - a spinning feather toy below and a whack-a-mole toy (stuffed toy popping out of small holes) above. You can run the two toys separately or together - I am finding running them together keeps both of them involved more. This toy works well and is well made. The on button is easily accessible on the side of the toy, so you don't have to pick up the toy to turn it on or change modes. This is much more convenient and less disruptive to cat play than when the button is on the bottom of the toy. This toy is a hit with my cats and will get a lot of use. I also love it. I have a similar toy - different color but otherwise identical - but it has an annoying chirping noise that comes on when you use the whack-a-mole toy so it drives me crazy. I got this one because there was no mention of any chirping noise in the product description. I can verify that it doesn't have one - this toy is quiet and the cats love it just as much as the other one. It just makes some soft clicky noises. I can highly recommend this.
- E. A. Donovan2024-07-13He loves it!
My cat was immediately a fan of this toy. There are 3 setting. 1 push = Wack-a-mole style that pops out of the top. 2 pushes = Feather that spin and dart out randomly from the bottom. And 3 pushes = Both 1 and 2 simultaneously. My cat watches mode 1 like it's a mildly interesting TV program, but doesn't really interact with it. Mode 3 seems to overwhelm him. But he absolutely loves mode 2. I love that it is rechargeable since other toys seem to just eat up batteries. One word of caution. The toys arrives with zero charge. The instructions tell you to charge it for 2 hours prior to use. I tried testing it after half and hour and thought it was defective because it wouldn't turn on. (That's when I actually read the directions.) I put it back on the charger for the recommended time and it works great. I've turned it on for him probably a dozen times over the last 24 hours and it's still going strong.
- J. Andress2024-07-11Feathers good, whack-a-chick not so much
My cats are enjoying being toy testers for Amazon Vine. Cat toys are hit or miss, you never know. One cat may love something and the other not interested. When I saw this toy available, I ordered it. Interactive toys are good to a point but my cats seem to lose interest after awhile. It comes with extra feathers to replace on the bottom and a screwdriver to install it. I tried this toy out with my younger cat, he seemed scared of the whack-a-chick so I turned that function off and just had the rotating feathers on the bottom. He loved that part but at one point he got his mouth on the feathers and tried to drag it away. The entire unit thumped along behind him and the noise startled him so he took off for a few minutes. When he came back and didn't seem as interested in the feathers, I turned the chick back on. He stared at it for awhile and then pawed it a bit but wasn't as interested as the feathers. Later my older cat came out of his hidey hole and I turned on the rotating feathers for him. He stared at it for a few minutes and then gently pawed at them. It kept him occupied for a few minutes and then they both lost interest and I turned it off. I don't know if this will be a toy of choice in the long term but for now they like it.
- Taborri2024-07-11Our second one of these fantastic cat toys!!
I originally got one of these to donate to my local animal shelter and it was a huge hit. All the kitties surrounded it and started tilting their heads and playing. It comes with a ton of replacement feathers and the whack a mole part is so entertaining to watch as the cats batted away. After seeing a room full of cats become immediately drawn and highly fascinated I wanted another for our cats. The day finally came and I have to say this one was better than the first I one I got. Easy-to-use and set up. It has multiple play time settings and functions. The noises immediately grab the cats attention and it was game on from there. Good quality and easy to recharge lets cats play for hours. The best part for me is the cats have a long lasting electronic play toy while we work. Enrichment is huge for pets and this toy delivers. I would absolutely recommend this amazing toy to all cat owners.
- Krausica2024-07-10A Great Size
I've always been a bit apprehensive of these toys because of how big they usually are and take up space, but I tried for this one because the dimensons were small. It's not too loud, I mean most of these motorized toys aren't quiet, but it's no louder than expected and quieter than some cheaper toys. In my pics I show it on carpet, but on that carpet I can only use the whack-a-mole mode because with a longer pile carpet the feather toy on the bottom gets caught. It works just fine on a less shaggy carpet and on wood/tile/vinyl. My 8yr old cat is still curious and suspicious of this (she is about all new toys) but she has been very interested in watching it and inspecting it. I think she enjoys observing it for now, and sometimes bats at the feathers while lazing on the floor next to it.
- Andrea2024-07-10Fun for even the laziest of hunters!
My cat Callie is an energetic furball that I am always trying to find new ways to entertain. She has a similar toy with "peak-a-boo" feathers that she loves, so I was thrilled to give this one a try. The toy came charged enough that we could play right away! This item also came with spare parts, though the instructions said it came with additional "mice" but it really only came with extra feathers. I appreciate that there are multiple settings depending on your cat's interest. The pop up mouse does make some " clacking" sounds with the robotic arm, so I started off with just the spinning feathers, which are quiet. I haven't quite figured out the timed option yet and normally just shut it off when she walks away. My other toy has a motion sensor that turns on when she triggers the sensor - I don't think this toy has that functionality, but that may be for the better, as she is sometimes scared when walking by the toy and it starts unexpectedly. Sometimes, my cat is a super energetic hunter, complete with flipping and kicking her toys. Today, she was a lazy hunter, laying on her side and pawing at the feathers. This toy will keep your cat engaged, regardless of their energy level!
- Amazon Customer2024-07-09Already their new favorite
We have 6 foster kittens right now and they loved this straight from the charger. At first they were a little scared and unsure of the pop up, so they sat in front of it and watched. Adding the spinning feather at the bottom in the second function caught their attention and they went crazy trying to grab it. The entire box is small but there was enough room for 4 of them to gather around to take turns playing. It's light which is unfortunate because when a cat grabs the pop up toy or a bottom feather, they can drag over the entire box. It did move across the carpet during the first round of play. But it's held up so far, even when they figured out they could put two paws down in the holes and grab the toy when it pops up. Our old man cat loves toys including the interactive balls and fish and was not interested in this at all. And a few of the kittens were scared until they saw others play with it.
- AR2024-07-10Cutest toy for cats - provides continuous entertainment.
This is the perfect toy for cats that have a high play drive and need interactive fun. It keeps them entertained with both the whack-a-mole and the rotating feather feature on the bottom. Love that it is rechargeable by USB-C, and the fact that it has multiple modes for to keep them entertained. We've been using this for a couple of days now, and they couldn't get enough of it every time we turn it on. It also includes replacement feathers for when your cats inevitably destroy the one that it comes with. This is a must if you have cats that like to play, and it is something we plan on getting as a gift for fellow cat owners in the future. Highly recommended.
- That One Customer2024-07-14works well but is a bit much for my cat
My cat doesn't like the top toy, which i had thought would be his favorite - he does, however, like the spinning feather toy on the bottom and enjoys playing with that a lot. Luckily it has 4 modes - Top toy only, Bottom toy only, Both toys, and Off. All you have to do to switch modes is press the power button, so it's easy enough to set up for him. He's managed to pull a feather off already, but despite being pretty rough with the toy it's still working perfectly well. I don't know why the top toy makes him so uneasy, but it IS a little loud, so maybe that's why.
- Joiabela2024-07-12My cats love it
My cats really like this. One is 4 months old and one is 11 months old. They really enjoy trying to anticipate where the "mole" will come out. It charges up easily with a USB-C cord. Came with extra feathers and mole so I can replace them when the kitties finally catch that pesky mole!
