- J Robertson2024-05-25Interesting little tank, however...(updated)
The tank arrived well packaged and undamaged. Includes the tank with intergrated filter basket w / hingeed lid, 3 artificial plants (one large & two small) and submersible pump. Pros: Small footprint Stylish design Quite operation Hingeed Lid with LED lights Cons: The intergrated filter basket and lid cannot be removed making it difficult to clean or service. Does not include any filter material so buying a sheet of universal filter material and cutting it to fit is required. Otherwise you'll be moving water around and not cleaning it. Pump flow rate is not adjustable. The inlet suction is too strong for fish that aren't strong swimmers like our Betta. I blocked the intake by 50% and added a wrap of universal filter material to help slow the flow in the tank & prevent hurting of little buddy however it's still too much and is stressful for our slow swimmer. This will mean that I have two separate filters to service which is difficult because of the limited access. Had to order a separate sponge filter and external adjustable air pump to maintain a slow environment. The 3 color LED do not have a dimmer and is very very bright. Had to add tinted film to reduce the light and stress of the fish. Doesn't include any form of a heater even the smallest one available takes up space in an already cramped environment. This also mean 3 separate ac plugs are required so a power strip adds to the overall space required to operate. I really want to like this tank, I do, however for $70 USD and the amount of modifications required you may want to avoid this product if you are looking for a tank that requires slow moving environment. For bigger fish that don't mind a livelier tank this should work for you just fine. I think so far it's a good option but for the price it should come with a some filter material, tank heater, adjustable LED dimmer, and removable basket for access & cleaning. Hope this helps answer some questions that I had about it. *Update* The seller is very responsive and will to work for with you! If you're looking for a good little tank for a goldfish or faster swimming buddy I'd definitely give this tank a try.

So when I received this fish tank, I was very excited for after reading all of the reviews and seeing the pictures of it. Upon taking it out of the package I only had two pieces of the grass and bot the 3. After I installed everything and put all my stuff together. Everything worked fine the filters the pump the lights and even the temperature gauge on it. Also I enjoy the humidifier. It seems to be working like it should. Today I refilled the humidifier and then I found a third grass tucked away inside of the lid. I may or may not even use it as I already bought a centerpiece for my tank. One con that I find is that the degrees is in Celsius and not fahrenheit. I prefer Fahrenheit over Celsius because that's why I'm used to reading. But as I put in Mooney into the tank he is enjoying it as he has a lot more room to swim around in versus the first one that I had them in. Though the tanks only been up for 2 weeks now I will be monitoring it and watching it to see how the filter and everything works and possibly update this review if anything changes. But I would definitely recommend buying it because it is a nice little tank. The tank is very sturdy and the sizes exactly what it says. I also like the way that the lights are changeable or automatic where I can change colors. Just wish you would turn off on its own versus me having to go through all the modes to turn it off. But that is okay. Other than that great tank and the glass on it is very clear. The assembly on the tank was very easy as well putting the pump together and the instructions well I didn't read them. I set up a ton of Tanks before and kind of just going to look at it and do it, before the novice they should be able to do it if they follow the instructions on the paperwork that they give you.

- Knott Cha2024-06-02First Impressions of the Fish Tank Aquarium 2.2 Gallon with Humidifier
I just set up my new Fish Tank Aquarium 2.2 Gallon with Humidifier, and I’m already loving it! The tank is spacious and super quiet, which is perfect for my living room. The colorful touch lighting adds a fun element, and the filter works efficiently. The quality of the tank is impressive, and the water pump with integrated bubbles is a nice touch. I was pleasantly surprised by the digital temperature display and the aromatherapy humidifier – both are fantastic features. This tank is great for first-time fish owners because of its compact size and quiet filter. The customer service has been excellent so far; they promptly replaced some missing accessories. However, there are a couple of downsides. The instructions are unclear and inadequate, making it tricky to set up and adjust the filter’s flow rate. Also, the tank isn't entirely self-cleaning, so it requires regular maintenance. Despite these cons, my kids are excited to use it for their pet fish, and I’m thinking of repurposing it for snails too. Overall, it's a versatile and enjoyable addition to our home.

To Whom it May Concern, I bought this fish tank and have used it with my beta fish “Twizzy” for 1 month. I bought this tank because I thought it might be able to solve all of the problems that my last tank had. My last tank got dirty very quickly, was too small, and looked ugly. After opening the package I was excited to see that this new tank was just the right size for my fish. Also, the tank was only $70 which is relatively cheap for a filter tank this size. However, as I began the assembly process, I started to realize that I might not be getting the best bang for my buck. The first problem that I noticed when setting the fish tank up was that the instructions were in broken english. It was easy to tell that the instruction manual was written in a different language and translated to english… most likely from an internet site. This made it extremely difficult to understand the instructions and disabled me from being able to follow along with them. The next problem I ran into also had to do with the instruction manual. After triple checking the back and front of the short, one page manual I realized that there were a few missing steps to setting up the filter. The only way I ended up figuring out where all of the cheap plastic parts went was to go back to the amazon page I bought it from and try and set it up based on the photos of the product. This worked after a while. Luckily, these were the only problems I ran into when setting up the tank. The added flowers for decoration were a nice touch to Twizzy’s home. There were no water leaks and the tank looked fantastic when all of the decor and water was in. However, I ran into another problem when putting the filter sponge into the filter machine. There was no filter sponge! In the Amazon description for the product under the “What You Get” section it states that you get, “A reusable filter sponge.” There was no sponge to be seen so I ended up cutting an old sponge to fit in the slot and it seems to work okay but not great. I also ran into a problem that concerns the noise of the filter. The filter is very efficient at picking up lots of water and spreading it throughout the whole fish tank, but the sound of the water splashing on the water can be heard throughout the room. I often unplug my fish tank when I’m in the room because the noise becomes unbearable. The last concern I have with this fish tank is the LED lights that it comes with. I’m no scientist but I heard on the internet that too much LED lights on top of a betta fish can kill it. Yet, this is exactly what this tank is doing with the built in LED lights. This complaint might be a stretch but it is definitely something to look into. After 1 month, the tank is still fairly clean, looks great, and my fish is happy. Even after all of the setting up problems, I still believe this is a great tank for a betta fish. It looks great in any room and stays clean for a long time. I would recommend buying a filter sponge beforehand so you don't have to worry about it not coming in the package. Thank you, Bjorn Ryning
- bssiesmth2024-06-09Nice glass tank, but design flaws detract....
Like others have noted, there are a few challenges with this tank: - There is a plastic tray for the filtration system fixed into the top rear third of the tank- it can't be removed, which makes it very difficult to reach or clean the back of the tank. - The hole through which you run the cords for the filtration system is too small to allow you to remove the intake pipe and motor for cleaning or maintenance. After my betta ripped his fins sleeping on the intake, I had to get a filter sponge on without being able to remove the pipe from the tank, which stressed him out considerably. And now that the sponge is on, the only way I can clean it is by vacuuming it (unless I want to put him through all of that again and end up wringing it out in his water)- and I can't reach the back side. - There's only one hole in this tray that is big enough to allow a plug to pass through- the hole through which the intake and motor are mounted- meaning all peripheral devices have to crowd the same corner. The only heater I could find that would fit behind the intake was one of those flat always-on models. So I also had to buy a timer. - The intake flow can't be adjusted and is too intense for some fish. - The intake valve for the oxygen doesn't seem to work/completely closed it passes as much air as completely open. - The lights are intense, and can't be dimmed. I've had to cover mine with two layers of masking tape and they're still pretty bright. I can only keep them on a few hours a day before my betta freaks out. Like others, I initially thought a filter sponge was not included- *turns out it is a white foam brick that is very easy to mistake for packing material*. Triple check before you throw out your box. It's attractive and I love the molded glass, but it would be easier for beginners to learn on a basic tank without these restrictions. My real rating would be 3.5 stars if Amazon allowed it. EDIT: Vendor reached out and has committed to addressing some of the above- adjusting rating to reflect their responsiveness. Keep an eye out for updated versions of this tank.
- Cidney C2024-07-16Hello fish!!!!!
I've been hoping to find a fish tank like the 2.2 Gallon Fish Tank Aquarium for quite some time, and it truly lives up to my expectations. It's perfectly compact, making it an ideal addition to my small space. The adjustable 3-color lighting system allows me to customize the look and feel of the aquarium, beautifully highlighting its contents. The tank includes a self-cleaning 3-in-1 pump that expertly manages filtration, oxygenation, and water circulation, maintaining a clean and healthy environment for the fish with minimal effort. The HD float glass offers clear visibility from all angles, and the sturdy, leak-proof base ensures durability and peace of mind. Setting up this aquarium was a breeze, and its maintenance is just as simple. It's everything I've been looking for in a small, efficient, and attractive fish tank. - Derik Porter2024-06-19Good tank
For the price, it's a good little tank. Temp can't be switched to Fahrenheit, but that's not an issue. Had to cover a few lights because they are way too bright. Pump is silent, and can't be adjusted. Definately not for using to keep pregnant fish. Little ones would be sucked up rapidly. Had to get a seperate heater, but it's not very easy finding a heater for a tank that small. Found a flat heater for up to a 4 gallon tank, raises the temp to 86⁰ (30⁰ c). Lid doesn't come off, so cleaning is a pain, but can be done. Overall it's a fairly good starter tank for kids. Just make sure the fish are strong swimmers or they'll get stuck on the water intake for the pump
