The perch extender works great however the screws sent aren't long enough to accommodate both the perch and the pole stand like it says. The screw size is hard to find and I refuse to buy self tapping screws and ruin the threading on a 250.00 bird feeder so I'm returning the perch and getting one off etsy.

I have a hanging feeder and this product came with the correct screw size. It was super easy to attach and I used it to put clip on hummingbird feeders on my bird buddy to see if I can get any on camera :) definitely recommend this, even just for a extra place for the birds to hang out.

Easy to install. Fits bird buddy perfectly

Since this perch is a Bird Buddy Brand, I expected it to fit perfectly and it did. Sometimes the birds like to just perch on the flat platform to get closer to the seed and they sometimes sit on the side which won't always trigger the camera. The perch allows medium size birds to perch and eat more easier.

Birds love it

I bought this because without it the birds are very close to the camera. That's not a problem with smaller birds like finches or wrens. With larger birds like bluejays and cardnals, most of their body's were out of frame. This extension fixed that and now I get much better pictures. It's also well made, easy to install and the color matches my bird buddy perfectly.

I love the extended perch, The first day all the regulars stayed longer at the feeder, a lot of camera action. Day 2 a crow discovered the perch and took over. I've had my bird buddy for several months, without any crows. That was fun for a minute. I'm considering trying smaller perch, for now, were perchless.

The perch extender allows birds to land freely before eating. The 3D printed one I had made with PETG filament degraded significantly after a year. Wasn’t going to buy it because the cost to ship from Bird Buddy was high. I was so happy to get it with free shipping on amazon!
