- Dawn2024-05-23A Must Have For Te Giving Baby Chicks A Great Start
We purchased this for our newly hatched baby chickens since they are more susceptible to illness when they are just hatched. Really whether it is colder weather or not, we always buy something like this to give new baby chicks a healthy boost. This really seems to strengthen their immune systems and helps them be more resilient and healthy. It is Super easy to use and the directions are very clear. This came packaged well and shipped quickly. If you want to give your baby chickens, the best start that they can have, then buy this supplement! Just so you know, this review is from an impartial opinion. Amazon sent this product to me to review, so you know this is an unbiased review. I believe if you get this, you will not be disappointed, it is pretty straightforward and exactly as it is posted. 👉Disclaimer-My review is part of the Vine program on Amazon. They chose us to give our honest opinions/reviews in exchange for products at a reduced price. I have to pay taxes on the items, so they are not completely free. Here is my personal rating system: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Five Stars - If I absolutely love the product and it exceeds my expectation, I will actively suggest the product to the people I influence and would purchase it again myself as needed. 🌟🌟🌟🌟 Four Stars - I really like the product and it does what the seller claims it would do. I would more than likely recommend it to someone if I knew they were looking for that product. 🌟🌟🌟 Three Stars - The product is standard, and for the most part does exactly what they say it does, but I would specify any differences. There may be things about a three star rating that I don’t like about the product. If I knew someone were looking for that specific item and I recommend it to them, I would also share with them the reservations that I have. ⭐️⭐️ Two Stars - I take low ratings seriously. I also take seriously issues with products after you have spent good money on them. In this case, I would probably never recommend anything that I would rate two stars on, in fact, I would probably tell people so they would shy away from it. ⭐️ One Star - it would take some serious issues to get a one star review for me. A bad product and bad customer service would do it though. I take pride in giving honest reviews & hope this review is helpful to you! 🤗

Mixture comes in a resealable pouch, with a scoop. It mixes well with the water, turning it a little orange. My chickens don't seem to mind it. While I like the list of supplements included, it's hard to tell if it's really doing anything, but my chickens appear healthy. It does say to use the mixture within 24 hours. Because my chickens do not go through a gallon of water per day, I'm having to guestimate how much is needed based on the amount of water in their container. There is no measurement guide on the scooper; just 1 scoop is for 1 gallon.

If my flock of feathered friends could talk, they'd be singing the praises of Chick'n Aid. As a devoted chicken enthusiast and author of The Herbal Henhouse: Nurturing Your Chickens With Nature's Remedies, available now on Amazon (wink wink), I'm always on the lookout for natural ways to keep my flock in tip-top shape. And let me tell you, this supplement is a must have. Whether it's a sweltering summer day or a chilly winter night, Chick'n Aid has my boys and girls covered. The electrolytes keep them hydrated and happy, even when the temperatures soar, while the probiotics and vitamins ensure their digestive systems are humming along smoothly. And during those long winter months when they're cooped up indoors, it's like a little immune-boosting boost in their waterer. I've even used it for my newly hatched chicks, and they've thrived under its care. It's like a supercharged version of chicken soup for the soul, helping them build strong immune systems and happy tummies right from the start. But perhaps the best part about Chick'n Aid is how easy it is to use. Just scoop it into their waterer, give it a quick stir, and voilà! You've got a flock of hydrated, healthy, and happy chickens. So, if you're looking for a way to give your feathered friends a little extra TLC, look no further than Chick'n Aid. It's the perfect blend of science and nature, and your flock will be clucking with joy! My Rating System Explained: ⭐️ 1 star - Unfortunately, this product falls short of expectations due to its poor quality. I cannot recommend it. ⭐️⭐️ 2 stars - While there are aspects to appreciate, the product suffers from significant drawbacks or is priced too steeply for its value. It's difficult to recommend. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 stars - This product is adequate; it presents some issues but generally meets basic standards of quality. It's a reasonable option for those willing to overlook its flaws. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 stars - A commendable product that delivers on its promises. It provides a satisfying experience and is worthy of consideration. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars - An exceptional product that exceeds expectations. It offers outstanding quality and value, making it a top recommendation.

I'm not a doctor, I'm not a veterinarian and I'm not giving out medical advice. I am going to state my experience that led me to try this product on a handful of baby chicks. I have several baby chicks that started limping and eventually had significant trouble walking. This happened to a number of my baby chicks in groups of 2-3 over a 3 week period. Tried several medications (under vet recommendation and prescription). Tried changing foods and multiple vitamin therapies. No improvement. I've started giving them this product in the food that I make for them, alternating with a green lipped mussle powder. I'm not going to say they have improved a lot but I feel like a couple of them are at least no longer getting their legs stuck over their head.

This doesn't dissolve very well. For that reason I will not recommend it. I will continue to make homemade electrolyte in this awful heat.
- Engineer dude2024-05-08Ducks seem to like it
My wife ordered this so here are her comments: We got 4 ducklings about 8 weeks ago and as the summer approaches, I want to make sure they stay hydrated. I tried this out today and they seem to like it just fine. Time will tell if this makes a difference but we're new at this and learning as we go. Seems like a good price compared to similar products I've seen.
- The Crow’s Nest2024-05-04Smells weird but the chickens don't seem to mind
This is one of those products that you don't exactly how if it's doing anything, but it seems like a pretty good product. The chickens have been drinking the water mixture the same as usual and they seem just as a healthy & happy as normal. The powder has a weird chemical vitamin smell so it's not really appealing to me but dissolves pretty well in water. I appreciate the measuring scoop inside. I wish there was more in the package and a mixture lasted longer (says use within 24 hours of mixing). So far so good, I'll update my review if there is anything to report.
