    Awesome little terrarium

This is a really nice little terrarium. It’s really well constructed and it just looks awesome set up. Is it pricier for a smaller acrylic terrarium? Sure, but as someone who’s been into the hobby for decades you pay extra for curved glass and acrylic it’s just what it is. That being said it’s absolutely worth it. I keep a group of dairy cow isopods in it. If you have any insects isopods, jumping spiders etc I’d really recommend this. Like I said it looks good and is well built.

great humidity chamber for plants or insects and small frogs

LIKES: true to size description, many small holes, easy to open door on side. DISLIKES: advertisement is has reptiles listed and it is not big enough to humanly keep lizards. Tree frog, insects, small tarantula yes, but nothing larger. HOW USING: I am going to use this to house a large venus flytrap or a rainforest orchid. I may try to use it to breed a small colony of field crickets instead. **The holes are too small for flies to get in so I intend on catching them and putting them into the container myself. RECOMMENDATION: Absolutely! It is well constructed, perfectly designed to create a humid environment, and have clear views from all directions. I think a tree frog or smaller creature would be happy inside and I do believe it is ideal for rainforest orchids and carnivorous plants. However, I did take a star off because I don't like when products cut and paste photos of animals that are too big for their product. This gem doesn't need it. It is a great display case for the right organisms, have fun!

    Many uses

Not for baby spiders. Need to be at least mid sized jumpers or bigger. No slings. Pros: Big! Solidly made and side opening if you want jumping spiders. Can see putting other insects or climbing spiders in it. Room for an orchid that needs that humidity or other ideas of the sort. Has ventilation on top and sides. Door closes well. Cons: Door is not big. That can be good or bad. You have to decide depending on your use. If you need to reach in and down a lot, it could be an issue if trying not to let something escape. Round can be harder to decorate, but really not bad. This is well made and solid. Think of what use you really need it for and if the specs meet your needs, it is nice.

    What a great little enclosure

This has inspired me to get another tarantula! I've had dozen for years and no one knows the trouble people go though looking for decent enclosures. Aquariums on end. Strange expensive acrylic boxes. There were no real options out there. This thing is what I was always looking for! It would work great for about any type of tarantula. I was looking at it as a arboreal enclosure, but anyone that has had those tarantulas that love to dig will be happy to know that there are no air holes below the level of the door or so. It would be simple to fill the bottom 1/3 or so of this with soil for a T to tunnel into. I'm excited for current and future tarantula owners. This and other enclosures out there are a great luxury to make great habitats for your T's. Very impressed. I do have one critique/warning. The closure on the door is one sided. On the outside it spins 360, but there is only 1 point on the dial that it actually locks the door closed.

    Well made, door fits weird

Overall it's a solid and well made terrarium, but the door looks like it's made from a different size curve plastic than the rest of the terrarium, so there is this weird mismatch at the top and bottom corners. If I were actually going to use this for a creature, and not a plant, that tiny little difference could easily lead to the escape of a young arthropod, or feeder bugs. It's attractive and nicely sized, but I'm glad that I'm just using it for a plant, and not for a small animal.

    Nice little enclosure.

Even though I haven't gotten around to picking out the perfect resident yet, I can already tell this is a great enclosure. It looks really sleek with the big front door and so much nicer than the top opening ones I was looking at before. It seems really sturdy, and no assembly required was a nice bonus. I can't wait to design the perfect habitat and welcome a new friend home!

    Warped door, larger then advertised.

The size on this is tricky, on the listing it says 11inx5inx5in, the picture shows 11.5x6x6. In reality, its 12x6x6. It's a huge enclosure. Not a terrible thing, but it's marketed towards Jumping Spiders, and only a very large adult jumping spider (Phidippus Regius or larger) would be suited for this. Additionally, the door is warped. When shut, part of the door sticks out on the inside of the enclosure. It's not quite enough to form a gap, but acrylic can warp in humidity and over time, so it could become one. It also might be worse in others then in the one I got. The latch is fine, but its attached by a screw to the inside of the latch, and the latch itself can turn 360 degrees, which tightens or loosens the actual plastic piece as it does. This could result in the latch becoming loose and opening on its own, if you don't keep an eye on it. Possibly fixing the screw in place with some glue or something might help this issue. The vent holes are fine sized for an adult jumper, and there are a good amount of them. Ventilation shouldn't be a problem in this. It would likely be fine for tarantulas, mantises, etc. But not slings/nymphs/any small creature. Overall, I'm not sure this is an ideal enclosure for a jumping spider, but a very large adult would probably be fine in it. My major issue is the warping of the door, and the potential for gapping over time or if the warping is worse in some of these than in mine.

    Absolutely beautiful jumping spider enclosure

I'm used to building inside of those acrylic rectangular containers, but wanted to get break from my usual norm and try out one of these cylindrical ones. I'll be honest, if these are about the same price as the rectangle once I've seen everywhere on Amazon, and is significantly better in build quality, and the door is more robust. Maybe it's because you have to assemble the rectangular ones yourself whereas this one comes full of the assembled and feels nice and sturdy, with not much give besides the door.

    Pretty cool piece

Im using this for a plant that needs higher humidity and its doing well in the terrarium. It's not very large but I will say, the acrylic that is used for this is crystal clear and arrived with virtually no scratches.

    Unique enclosure

I've always had my jumping spider in a smaller, square shaped enclosure. This was quite the different shape for both of us. He seems to enjoy the height and has built a "web super highway" across the top. The only thing I would change is to have a "door" at the top of the enclosure as well.
