Not only is this high quality snake catcher good at moving and removing snakes (out of the dog kennels, out of the garage, all those other lovely places snakes show up), it also worked to remove a plastic bag stuck high in a tree for months. It picks out-of-reach bugs and other items seemingly out of reach. Glad to have it! Definitely recommend.

Bought this set of tongs as we seem to have been invaded by snakes this summer in our yard. Ordered this one because it seemed to be well made and was a length (60") that I wanted to keep some distance between me and the snake. Once it arrived, it did not disappoint. Well made and of really sturdy construction, I put it to good use within the first hour of unboxing it. Caught a large black rat snake (~48") by our foundation and the jaws of the tongs held the snake securely despite it's very animated writhing. Deposited the snake in a lidded five gallon bucket and dropped him off a mile down the road in some woods. I am really happy with these tongs and expect a long service from them as they're made that good.

Well it's that time for all snakes to come out, And my old snake catcher was getting worn at the catcher mouth part. And I wanted a longer one. I git this 60 inch one,for the large rattle snakes. But right now there's alot of baby rattlers I used it yesterday, it's a little different grabbing the babies, you need a good end grabber babies are thin and about12 inchs long little ones. THIS WORKED...THE CLAMP WORKED PERFECT. And I was able to get her right into my old cooler and Relocate her up the mountain..SORRY I DID NOT GET A PIC OF HER, BUT Was Not Thinking About Writing This Review At The Time😲

I used the snake stick to remove a copperhead from around my house within days of receiving the stick. Gripped the snake great with little trauma to either of us. I was able to drop the snake in a garbage can and relocate it several miles away from the house. good product.

This is an amazing product. I caught 2 garden snakes using this. One of them was very quick but this stick holds tight. Good thing is that snake stay very far due to long stick. I afraid of snakes but using this product I don’t.

This was absolutely indispensable today to extract a large rattler from under a pile of lumber in a shed. Without it I am not sure how I would have gone about trying to get him out. He was a bit nasty - rattling constantly. We chase other kinds of snakes away but with rattlers and grandkids sometimes visiting we have to get rid of those. So very glad I bought this.

While this will work keeping the cottonmouths away from the house, I wasn't impressed with locking system to put it in storage. The lock rounded out on the first use.

This is the third we have purchased for our homestead. It will hold small baby snakes as well as large adults.

Originally purchased to remove snakes from the chicken coop however worked fine for removing a 20 pound possum from the cats house.

Not good for small snakes. Killed a diamondback with it last night.
