It appears a little cheap, but I can't complain too much. It was cheaper than a competing brands product, and even came with a bulb. It also has features that the competition doesn't provide for 20% more money

I've happily used many Repti Zoo products in the past and I can confirm this UVB light/fixture is on par with the quality of their other products. The fixture is well constructed. It does not feel shoddy or questionable as some cheaper alternatives may. As always, ensure you selected the correct bulb for your reptile type.

This lamp works great. easy to hook up and turns right on. Nice lamp for lizards.

Product was shipped in the flimsy cardboard box it was packed in from the manufacturer. Guess What, it arrived broken and hardware was missing.

I have 2 frogs in a large terrarium and had a light that was only half the length of the tank to allow the other half to be their shade. It unfortunately changed their calling, and mating, habits. I chose this new kit because it came with everything I need. I have the light on a timer and it has restored consistent calling behavior. I also checked the output on a UV card and it registered purple, indicating good UV levels. For the current price of $56, this kit is well worth the money and delivers on the UVA and UVB. I'm hoping this helps reverse my frogs' metabolic issues and improves their overall health and wellbeing and that makes it worth every penny. Note: This is my honest opinion and I hope my experience helps you in your decision.

We ordered this for our veiled chameleons enclosure to replace an older fixture, and so far she seems to be enjoying it. When testing the T8 bulb with a UV detection card, she gets plenty of UV at all different levels of her cage, not just a few inches in like CFL bulbs. The fixture itself is lightweight but sturdy-feeling, and is incredibly easy to set up and use. Highly recommend Repti Zoo for their lighting options!

This works great. We are using it on our redfooted tort's table and it provides the right amount of light. It was easy to use some wire and attach it to the mesh of the top.

Easiest use would be for setting on the top of a tank lid, I didn't even want to think about trying to mount it. Works well, good sturdiness, and matches other lighting a this price point.

OK, I guess I am the only one who feels this way from reading previous reviews. Yeah, as far as quality goes it is "pretty good".. It is light weight plastic. Nothing fancy. Plus side it's low profile, has a few pieces of hardware for different mounting. But let's be real here: Over $50.00 is ridiculous. A normal 24" fixture sells all day for $10-15.00. The Bulb Maybe $20.00 for UVA/B bulb. So, while I am not unhappy with the construction. The Price is just ridiculous. But, you market as "Pet" product you can mark it up 1000%. For the price you'd think it had built in timer, dimmer, etc. Which it does not. Again, just way over priced...

This light is everything I needed and more! Excellent quality. Just great.
