This cage is great for the price. Pretty easy to put together. Decent sturdiness for the price. A little flimsy but not bad. BUT, the way the door is placed and how it closes is very hazardous to your pet rat/mouse, etc. You need to be certain your pet's head is not in the corner where the door tilts in or you could easily crush the animals skull when closing the door. There is also a small access door at the top.

Perfect , but the instructions are bad ,not where there are on letter , as the say.

I was super hesitant to buy this cage because of mixed reviews, but for the price I couldn’t pass it up… this cage is HUGE!!! I have 5 boys and they fit in here comfortably!! They cannot escape, and all of their toys fit in!! The cage came in so fast, like a week earlier then estimated, there are a few issues, the plastic tray was slightly chipped but it honestly is not a big deal since there is a grate on the top. There are also a few warped bars but honestly not a huge deal, they could be bent back to normal and even if it couldn’t they are not big enough for the rats to escape. This cage was larger then I thought, and I really love it. I seen others complain about no instructions, but honestly it was sooooo easy to put together, It took me 30 minutes to assemble. I couldn’t recommend this cage more for rats!!

This works Great for my older chinchilla. She is almost 20 yrs old now and had a larger cage with more tiers. I noticed she started having DAILY accidents on her ledges and realized she couldn't make it to the bottom anymore to pee. So I downsized to this. I've had it a week, she LOVES the cage and hasn't had an accident at all! although I recommend a bigger cage for younger chinchillas, this cage works perfectly for my situation. The layout is good, I had a wheel that I could only put in one spot, and that made it impossible to use the stair ledge... I wish it was optional to which side you put that, but not a big deal. The only reason this isn't getting 5 stars is because assembly instructions WERE NOT very easy to follow. Took me over an hour to assemble.

We ordered this for my daughters pet rats. It's very solid and moves easily with the wheels. The multiple levels are easy to access with the ramps. The rats handle the ramps fine without adding covers, although we do cover the platforms. The doors and the pull out tray have extra safety stoppers to ensure the rats can't move them. The doors are a great size to be able to get in and reach the rats wherever they are in the cage. We did have some issues with the shipping where some welds were broken. I gave this a high rating because although it had a couple of bent/broken pieces when it arrived, I contacted the seller right away & they were extremely helpful & got replacement pieces out to us ASAP. I would definitely order from them again! Integrity is a HUGE plus in my book! Aside from all of that, this cage is perfect! Well made, perfect spacing so rats can't get through & plenty of space!

Pros of this cage: It is a great cage, awesome value. It is so large and there is so much more room to decorate and make fun activities for my girls. I have 5 rats in this cage who are all packed into the small bird house on the top level. They don't know what to do with all the space yet. I really wish there was an accessory kit for this cage, some platform covers and ramp covers would be amazing. I used hand towels and old tall socks, accessory kits would sell like crazy. Cons of this cage: One being hanging a hammock on any level is extremely difficult you're better off buying corner hammocks. There's no edge on the outside of the cage to connect The hammocks too you have to wedge it in there pretty hard. Of course the wire platforms do suck, I put hand towels over mine. The next big flaw is the shelf underneath. It is so small I could only fit the cleaning products, all my food will have to find another place to be stored. I saw the picture and I was so excited for such a large shelf, I was pretty disappointed with what I got. Didn't come with any instructions on how to put it together, luckily I'm mechanically inclined and put it together pretty easily. I did have a problem where one of the screws didn't quite fit and I stripped it trying to get it in. A couple bars were bent out of place but nothing too bad I bent them back. The tray and the grate on the bottom don't go all the way back leaving about a half inch gap in the back of the cage. Where we could all assume the poop and pee is going to fall right onto your floor and miss the tray completely. The tray is very cheap and flimsy I can already tell I need to be very careful with it so that I don't break it. Overall I love the cage. I just can't give it 5 stars because of the lower shelf or lack there of and how awful the lower grate and tray are. Every cage is different and it is usually luck of the draw. This cage just happened to be slightly worse than I needed.

The platforms break easily. Instructions don't match the product, has letters but none of the parts have stickers. Don't waste your time.

This cage is to be expected for the price, it's perfectly sized for one rat (it's not recommended to have a lone, ours is alone for medical reasons) but i wouldn't want to hold more than two in it for longer than needed. My rat isn't a fan of the ramp or hammock but he just climbs the bars to get to his platform and ive got him a different hammock on the way. The door is adorable and makes dealing with and cleaning the cage so much easier. The instructions were pretty informative but very clean cut and to the point. The materials aren't crazy obviously cheaply made and perform well under the regular pressure a lone rat creates. Over all my biggest concern of the cage is the wire floor above the removable tray, it's no where near deep enough for a reasonable amount of rat bedding and the wire floor Is a safety concern due to bumblefoot. These are easy fixes with a little extra cash but who's got that nowadays? other than the few issues I've had its a pretty good deal for a pretty alright quality. Can't beat the price!

Really loved the cage with how spacious it is for our rat and how it came with a hammock and food bowl! The only reason why it lost a star is because it’s made in such a way that it has to be on the floor since the stand is literally part of the cage so you can’t really remove that and put it on a surface which I need to do because I have a rat hungry dog who I’m sure would bite off my rats tail if she can get it! Also it’s kind of more fitting for sugar gliders since the flooring is supposed to be wired. That’s not good for rats. I installed the tray to be on top of the wires but it doesn’t fit that well and of course it doesn’t keep the bedding in. Not the worst thing cuz really I could opt to use a blanket but I know she’ll go to the bathroom on it and chew it up. Anyways I have to say I would really still recommend it!

This is great it came in a day earlier and it was supposed to it's perfect for my granddaughters to rats Claudia and squirt. We travel a lot and it's perfect for motel rooms easy to put together she's 12 and she done it by herself I give it five stars I'll be buying from the company again
