Using it for my leopard gecko, and it seems to work well so far! It gets a little warm as it’s on for long periods, but that’s to be expected. Hopefully it holds up over time!

I got this to replace a Zoo Med that we had and it was perfect. Same quality for less$$.

I purchased this as the prior reviews were good. However, I took it to my pet store that specializes in bearded dragons and they tested the UVB output and it was not what was stated in the description so I returned it.

I’m having issues ither the entire lamp is unusable or the bulb arrived no good how ever I have turned the bulb like the instructions say and plugged it in to my supprize it dosent work at all the light didn’t come on sad day My Bearded needed this ,just discussed no support threw Amazon just send it back and redeliver / client support would have been better with options for assistance to make sure the this bulb was put in correctly

Our bearded dragon just got a new tank (4 x 2 x 2) as he's hit adulthood, and we found ourselves needing to upgrade his lighting. This kit did the trick wonderfully! Ever since adding it to the tank (in addition to a basking bulb and night light) to provide more UV and warmth, the temperatures have been perfect across the whole range, and our beardie is happy and more active. I definitely recommend getting this for your UV source, especially if you have a large tank. It's comparable to others sold online and in stores at much higher prices, and it was really easy to set up. If you have lots of tanks, it even comes with an extra port and adapter to daisy chain several together. Excellent purchase!

I like this UVB lamp fixture, it does not give off UVA rays and you will also need a UVA lamp. Hopefully, the bulbs are easy to buy when required to be replaced. I also would research to see if a UVA/UVB combination bulb is available. Bearded dragons need about 12 hours of UVB light every day to help with vitamin D and calcium digestion. This lamp is easy to use but you will need to have a metal screen on the top of the cage or a way to put it under the lid which I could not do because of my cage type. Another issue I have is that my cage has a wooden separation in the metal mesh top and I assumed this lamp would come with hangers so I could hang it from my stand. It does not hang. I left it on for 12 hours and it did not get so hot that I couldn't touch the holder. I put it back in the box for future use as I can't use it on my cage because the top is broken up by a piece of wood in the middle separating the two metal mesh openings.

We have this wired to our red footed tort's table on the mesh. It works perfectly and gives her all the light she needs. It is not too bright, gives her the UV that she needs, and is the perfect size. Overall very happy with this.

Lamp works great, penetrates through the tank mesh. Good quality. Fixture doesn’t get too hot. Works as it should.

Bulb burnt out in 2 months. Not impressed with the quality of this product.

I selected this to go on my bearded dragon enclosure. After reading the directions I was a little concerned this light would get very hot. After installing it I ran it all day and was still able to touch the metal housing of the light. The light raised the temperature in the enclosure from 74 to 80. So far it seems like it is going to work perfectly for my needs.
