- Amazon Customer2021-04-22DIDN'T WORK
I have plenty of these products and this one was simply defective. I had a difficult time connecting it to the smart app, and once I did, it would not work properly. I tested this product five times and it didn't work.

The battery was loose and something was rattling inside. The wire is a like a headphone jack and really loose. It detects water if I put the sensor in water and plug in the wire. However, if the sensor is plugged in already and I pour water on it, it gives no indication of any water. This is a terrible product.
- Indie2020-08-04Sensor works great with iPhone. I will test it again in a week and update.
I got the smart sensor and the only part that wasn’t clear is in step 3. You need to twist the over off in a counter clockwise direction an 1/8 turn. Pull the battery saver plastic strip out. You can now register the device. Once you register the device I was able to test it by slightly wetting the palm of my hand and placing the three pins from the base of the sensor on my palm and got notifications right way through the app.
- Frog Man2023-01-29They don't work
I bought two of these and neither one works. They both arrived with the battery loose and just knocking around the inside of the housing. Then neither one of them would respond to holding the reset button. The LED would never light so there's no way to pair. I even bought new batteries and that didn't help. I think these are just really low-quality.
- PATRICK QUINN2020-07-19Update.. might depend on which version of the product you receive.
Update....Not impressed. Easy to set up but it’s not loud at all. Worked fine on day one after setup. Day two will not work, no light no alarm nothing. It might be a battery but it’s not a common type, and should definitely last longer than a day. I’ll be sending it back....returned the first one but wanted to get it a second chance and bought another one. The 2nd one arrived and appeared slightly different in design. This 2nd alarm is V2 the one I retinas V1. V2 seems to be working. Only thing is the V2 requires the wired sensor to be used, whereas V1 the alarm body could have been used alone without the wired sensor. V2 also seems a little louder than V1.

Really poor quality. Battery is junk, product is junk. When I finally get it to link to my wifi the product doesn't even work. Don't waste your money. Unfortunately not a lot of water sensors on market that are hub free
- Dave2022-06-24Wasted time sending outdate equipment
This item is junk. Sent a outdated item with a outdated battery. Contacted the company and they was rude when said that they sent a outdated battery. From my experience with any Globe product just stay away from them. Cheap junk that you just waste your money and time on. The Globe app is even worse. Will not contact to their own products
- E.M.B.2021-03-03Does not work with Alexa...
I bought this because it was stated in multiple places that it is Alexa compatible...it is not. Alexa would never recognize the device so it did not work for what I was trying to do. The native app it uses is ok and works fine but the Alexa incompatibility ruined it for me.
- Stephen M.2020-12-04Bad batteries come with these units
Love the connectivity of this product and ability to work with the app and Alexa. However I ordered 10 of these units. Out of the 6 I have set-up so far, 3 came with completely dead batteries. I had to wait a few days for new batteries to come in the mail. Very disappointed to have a brand new product come with batteries in that condition. Update after finally getting to set up the last 4. All 4 batteries came completely dead. Have to order new batteries again.
- copierman2021-05-18Bad battery
Save your money. Bought to sense possible leak in under sink water heater. After setting unit up it gave a low battery indication ,so i tried to order a replacement from Amazon however the cr2 3v batteries that Amazon stocks are too large for the unit so I tried the local CVS which had them in stock for$20,00. Let's see $31.00 for unit $20.00 for battery. Not a good investment so it went back.
