Braun, they simply make very good products that are well made and always function as advertised. This is no different. They really know what they are doing. This epilator works very well. These can be painful, that is normal. After a while, it stops being painful. The smooth skin lasts much longer than typical shaving. This also comes with a very nice pouch that seems like it is suede, Idont think it is, but the texture is very good. The body trimmer is awesome, for being powered by a single AA battery. I love the small form factor, you can fit and reach in the oddest of angles. It also works well.

This thing is in a class of its own. I have an older version of this, and you feel hairs being pulled out. With this one I literally thought nothing was happening, until I looked down and saw hairs on the machine and realized it was actually working. It is that gentle. It also pulls out shorter hairs than the old ones did. It comes with a great scrubbing brush, that feels really nice on your legs and your face. And also a massaging head, but I have not used that one yet. It also has a shaver which I haven't used, because I've used the up later. Great buy!

Although taking six days to arrive,it came securely packed,undamaged,and as described.This amazing combination epilator/facial exfoliator is expensive,however worth it's price.Enclosed with varying sized epilators,small hair trimmer w/ battery facial exfoliator,massager,charging cord,and zippered carrying pouch.This device is powerful,works effectively,and is extremely well built.Although the larger device device is chargeable,the trimmer isn't and will require battery changes.In my opinion this is a major design flaw for a high end item,that should be rectified.Both units should have charging capabilities,as batteries are expensive and not eco friendly.Charging time is relatively quick taking me less than an hour before I was able to use it.Please note that this item was not only designed for women,but can be just as useful to men as well.For example I used the exfoliating brush before shaving with amazinging results,as it enabled a close shave leaving my skin clean with a youthful glow.Concurrently the epilator effectively removes the tiniest of stray hairs quickly and painlessly.However using it on beard hair can hurt.As advertised it can be used wet or dry,which is a bit inaccurate,since it shouldn't be used in the shower,or submerged in water.The massage pad can be used for lotion application after grooming is complete.In conclusion this is a quality item that can work well for woman and men respectively.Although a bit pricey it can make a great gift for oneself or a loved one.My four star rating is based on the design flaw of the trimmer lacking charging capabilities,including the inaccurate information about its ability to be used wet.

Wow this set has everything for hair removal plus an exfoliator with massage pad. Braun is a brand I trust and based on products I have purchased in the past I know it will last a long time. Never used an Epilator before because I heard they could be painful but I didn't find this one to be uncomfortable at all. The flexible head made it easy to get into all areas and I only had a few hairs that were stubborn enough to require manual tweezers. I soaked in a hot bath first which I believe relaxes the pores and helps with the process. My skin was a little red afterward but cleared up quickly with some lotion. What a difference between shaving and using the Epilator. My skin is so soft and smooth now.
