These seem to becoming commodity items. There are dozens available online and they mostly seem to do the same thing and work the same way. This one is no different. Works just fine, connects quickly and audio quality is just fine to my ears. I would just look for a bargain and buy that one,. If this is the bargain, go ahead and buy it.

Highly recommend! The hardest part of the install was tearing the plastic off the box! I’ve had it for two days now and the reconnect is seamless When the Bluetooth pairing code appeared on my phone, no code showed on my car display but the Mavlou logo did so I knew I could click allow to complete the pairing. I love how easy it is to use. I also love my phone not overheating from needlessly charging it so I can have CarPlay. And it is an inexpensive upgrade!!

Doesn’t connect automatically, I have to play with it over and over to get it reconnect again. And while driving it keeps disconnecting and my LCD screen gets totally blank/black like not functioning. So frustrating, so I have to return it. This is the second time I bought wireless CarPlay adapter both different brand. I’m done after second attempt. . Better off with the old fashion CarPlay cable when for sure you can rely on. What am I doing wrong?

Hookup was a breeze. The unit feels well constructed. Instructions were clear. It even shows how to do a firmware upgrade if things did not work as intended. Everything synced great though so I didn’t mess with updates. Sync up to the car on initial turn on takes 5 seconds which is much faster than the older units. Definitely a great addition to our old wired only CarPlay factory system. Highly recommended

This model is new for 2024. Before I even paired it to my car/phone, I powered it up and checked for firmware updates. It came with 04/2024 and there was a newer update 06/2024 so I did the update. Pairing it for the first time is standard fare--connect with bluetooth first and then it will automatically switch to wifi. It will connect to wifi thereafter automatically. Performance is excellent and so is connection time. Unlike many, this one also passes song title info to my Ford Sync 3.4 infotainment. I also like that in the settings, you can enable "background" so that ugly aftermarket screen is never displayed on bootup--it'll go directly to the Carplay screen when it is ready. Overall, highly recommended. Performs better than any other dongle I've had from 2023 and earlier.
