I LOVE THESE REMOTES!!!! They feel very high quality compared to the original Samsung TV remote and the remote paired right away. One of the best remote replacements I have ever bought!

Its a reliable substitute for the original Samsung TV remote. The setup process is pretty easy and doesnt require any additional programming or setup. This remote is responsive and efficient, provide quick access to all TV features, including smart functions and streaming services. It provides a comfortable grip.

Ok, so I got these remotes, and they have the exact same button configuration and the same feel as the original. How awesome is that to get a pack of two remotes for the price of a fast-food meal? I put batteries in the remote (2 AA that are not included) and it worked perfectly. I was thrilled. Later I picked up the remote and nothing worked, absolutely nothing. The batteries were new but I tried moving them around, nothing. I tried changing the batteries and it worked. So, maybe the batteries were bad. The next day I picked up the remote and nothing. It did absolutely nothing. WTH? This time I moved from the couch to the chair, and it started working. Ok, it’s working, so I go back to the couch and nothing. It turns out that I have a little figurine that was between the tv and the remote essentially blocking the signal. I’ve never had any issue like that with any remote that I have ever had. I can only say that the signal from these remotes is so weak that unless you have a straight line with no obstruction don’t bother. On the other side of that is that if you do have an unobstructed straight line from remote to tv this is an awesome deal for 2 remotes. So, from one chair this is zero stars, from the other it’s 5 stars so I went between with 3.

Long story short, our new puppy ate our tv remote. This was a perfect, out of the box replacement. Note: my tv model is a Samsung: UN55TU8000FXZA.

So I got these replacement remotes to connect to my TV and it kind of works. When I have the remote directly in front of the TV standing about 2 feet away, it works flawlessly. As I move further and further back or to the sides, the functionality starts to decline. At 8-10 feet away, I have to position the remote at certain angles to get it work properly. I tried swapping out multiple sets of batteries and it’s still the same. To make sure that this issue isn’t related to the position of the TV’s sensors, I tested functionality with the original remote in the same positions and the original remote works perfectly fine. I have a 65” TV, so sitting 2 feet away from the TV isn’t really an option. Does the remote work? Yes, technically, it is functional. Practically, it just doesn’t make sense to walk to within 2 feet of the TV to use the remote. I guess these replacements would be good if you are using them closer to your TV.

I ordered these for our Samsung q80d qled TV bc I'm the worst at misplacing or losing remotes and the one that comes with the TV is very small and thin. That makes it even easier for me to lose it. I just gotta say that they are perfect. Two remotes that paired in seconds with the TV so easily for just over $12 dollars is a steal! Only difference between these and the factory is the size which is actually ideal for me, they don't have a voice control button (which doesn't matter since the TV can be voice controlled by Alexa or Google), and they do take 2 AAA batteries that the factory does not require. To me, none of that is an issue and I still say they're worthy of the 5 stars I'm giving them.

I have a Samsung speciality remote with a qwerty keyboard on one side and remote controls on the other. I could never get the keyboard side to hook up. This control pairs almost instantly and works rock solid. I particularly love the quick link buttons. It lers me jump straight to the place I want to go. And since it's a 2 pack I'll have one handy all the time.

It works great with my Samsung Series 6 TV but the Hulu, Disney+, and Prime buttons do not work. I don't have Netflix so don't know if the Netflix button works but I am going to guess it probably doesn't. Other than that no complaints, both remotes work well. Each remote takes 2 AAA batteries and no batteries were included. Hope this helps.
